Priyanka Chopra made a fashionable arrival at Mumbai airport to fly home to the US on Tuesday after her brother Siddharth's wedding was reportedly postponed.

Siddharth's wedding was said to be rescheduled because his fiancée Ishita Kumar needed time to recuperate from her recent surgery, Mumbai Mirror reported. 

The actress, 36, looked glamorous in white trousers and a lightweight duster as she headed home after her fleeting visit to India.

A source told the publication: 'There are rumours that the wedding has been called off, but it's not true.  

'Ishita needs sometime to recuperate from her surgery and the families are looking for another.' 

MailOnline has approached Priyanka Chopra's representatives for further comment.

Last week, Priyanka had reportedly touched down in her native Mumbai last week to attend her brother's nuptials.

During her trip, the Bollywood star cast her vote in India's 2019 election and enjoyed some quality family time.

The winner of the Miss World 2000 only recently got married to her husband Nick at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in traditional Hindu and Christian ceremonies.

The couple had three wedding receptions, with one including a Bombay red carpet affair for her fellow Bollywood stars.

The lovebirds got engaged while in London in late July 2018 while they celebrated her 36th birthday.

In recent weeks, Priyanka celebrated the Easter weekend with her husband Nick and his mother Denise. 

However, the married couple have no plans to have any children just yet as Priyanka revealed they are taking their time.

Nick told Extra: 'We're taking our time.'
