The encounter took place as the far-right extremist was campaigning in Warrington, Cheshire today and sparked a brawl after his blue striped suit was covered in the sticky McDonald's drink. In footage taken at the scene, Robinson - who is running as an independent to become an MEP for the North West - can be seen engaged in a discussion with a man (left) and appears to be referencing an earlier altercation in the town centre. He can be heard telling the man that he was 'overly aggressive' and that 'the only person you pushed was a woman.' But just moments later, the 36-year-old is covered in milkshake (right) before hurling several punches at the man responsible. Cheshire Police said: 'We are aware of an allegation of assault made following an incident in Bridge Street in Warrington this afternoon. We are looking into the circumstances.' A spokeswoman said the force had given Robinson advice but denied claims on social media that he had been given a police escort. It comes after the EDL founder was also covered in strawberry milkshake while out canvassing for votes for the European Parliament elections in Bury on Wednesday.

When police entered the home the court heard there was a stench of urine and faeces emanating from the boy's bedroom.

NEW Given Jude Law’s (pictured main by new wife Dr Phillipa Coan) track record with women in the 16 years since he split from his first wife, you’d be forgiven for thinking re-marriage was the last thing on his mind, writes ALISON BOSHOFF. For the handsome film star has dated a veritable red carpet line-up of beauties. There was the scandal-drenched period in which he dated Sienna Miller on and off and was caught cheating with his children’s nanny Daisy Wright. He also took Luther actress Ruth Wilson to the Box nightclub and was linked to young model Lily Cole. Theresa May and No10 will NOT report sacked Gavin Williamson to police

The shamed former Defence Secretary, 44, (right today) believes detectives would exonerate him of leaking top secret details about giving Huawei access to Britain's 5G network. Mrs May (left today) 'brutally' fired him last night and published a letter trashing his reputation after his 11-minute call to a journalist who wrote the story was uncovered by her civil service enforcer Sir Mark Sedwill. There are growing calls for Mr Williamson to be prosecuted for breaching the Official Secrets Act, which carries up to two years in prison. But the PM's deputy David Lidington said today he did not believe a crime had been committed and instead said the case 'boils down' to a breach of the ministerial code. And Met Commissioner Cressida Dick suggested they couldn't probe the leak - or Mr Williamson's alleged involvement - unless the Cabinet Office shares their investigation with them. But today Mr Williamson said he would 'massively welcome' a Scotland Yard probe and told Sky News: 'As soon as they have the reporter's notepad it would show that I didn't say anything and then I would get the nicest apology from the Prime Minister, far nicer than the last letter she sent me'. But some - including election guru Professor Sir John Curtice - have claimed the absence of the Brexit Party from the ballots and the lack of UKIP candidates will be a silver lining for the Prime Minister (pictured left today with her husband Philip) and her party, as voters will stay at home instead of backing Labour or the Lib Dems.
