Embarrassing footage then emerged of Jude chatting up a Hungarian Playboy model in a bar in Budapest, apparently heavily inebriated.

Richard Osborn-Brooks, 79, (right) knifed career criminal Henry Vincent, 32, (left) after he caught him in his home in Hither Green, south London (inset). Vincent, who came from the traveller community, was high on cocaine and heroin and armed with a screwdriver, which he threatened to stab the homeowner with. The coroner has now ruled that Vincent was 'lawfully killed', noting the pensioner had used 'moderate force' to protect his elderly wife, who was at the top of the stairs. Vincent’s mother (inset, top), told the hearing today: 'Everything we say and do is all taken out of proportion. Why couldn't that gentleman have just stood back like a normal person would have?’

Jack Glenny (left), 24, who ran Sunday's race with his twin brother Joe in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, said that one of the 'proudest moments of his life' was ruined by nasty comments from stewards (example, right) and mismanagement that made him feel like a 'nuisance'. The billings account manager, who competed the race in just over seven hours and raised £6,000, said: 'We felt extremely let down by the organisation, we were forced to move out of the way for a marshal van, workers were taking down barriers and posters the whole time. The shamed former Defence Secretary, 44, (right today) believes detectives would exonerate him of leaking top secret details about giving Huawei access to Britain's 5G network. Mrs May (left today) 'brutally' fired him last night and published a letter trashing his reputation after his 11-minute call to a journalist who wrote the story was uncovered by her civil service enforcer Sir Mark Sedwill. There are growing calls for Mr Williamson to be prosecuted for breaching the Official Secrets Act, which carries up to two years in prison. But the PM's deputy David Lidington said today he did not believe a crime had been committed and instead said the case 'boils down' to a breach of the ministerial code. And Met Commissioner Cressida Dick suggested they couldn't probe the leak - or Mr Williamson's alleged involvement - unless the Cabinet Office shares their investigation with them. But today Mr Williamson said he would 'massively welcome' a Scotland Yard probe and told Sky News: 'As soon as they have the reporter's notepad it would show that I didn't say anything and then I would get the nicest apology from the Prime Minister, far nicer than the last letter she sent me'. Mr Williamson has gone to ground today while his wife Joanne arrived at the family home in Staffordshire alone this morning (inset).

Travelling to London to see him Paul's long-distance girlfriend waits outside his dressing room after he has performed in a play. As others, presumably cast members or friends, call out for Paul to come out of his dressing room and in to the corridor. Taking his time a woman can be seen running from the room and his girlfriend excitedly waits for him to emerge. Walking out of the door Paul looks around to see why he is being called for. Suddenly he does a double-take as he spots his girlfriend and a look of shock appears on his face. But the shock almost appears to turn to horror as she runs forward for a hug.

Palace sources have 'categorically denied' that baby Sussex has been born, after speculation reached fever pitch following announcement of Prince Harry's (right) trip abroad next week. Meghan (left with Harry) previously told well-wishers that her due date was the end of April or early May, but with no sign of baby Sussex, rumours are flying that she has already given birth in secret. Speculation went into overdrive yesterday after Prince Harry trip to the Netherlands was revealed, meaning he could potentially miss the birth of his first child. 

Stylist Natasha Archer, who has worked with the Duchess for more than a decade, was made a Member of the Royal Victorian Order at Buckingham Palace today after being named in the Queen's New Year's Honours list 2019. Photos shared on Instagram by her royal photographer husband Chris Jackson show Miss Archer beaming in the palace forecourt (right). A second snap shows the wardrobe guru beaming with their four-month-old son Theo at a celebratory lunch at the Goring Hotel (left) - a favourite of the Queen.

The trial has begun for Michael Gargiulo, the 'Hollywood Ripper', 43, Thursday. He is facing two counts of murder and one of attempted murder. Gargiulo - dressed in purple dress shirt, with his head shaved and sporting a graying goatee and Versace glasses- occasionally whispered to his lawyer. Assistant district attorney called the murders a 'systematic slaughter of women by Michael Gargiulo, the boy-next-door killer'. He is accused of fatally stabbing Ashley Ellerin, 22, in her home in 2001 - who at the time was dating actor Ashton Kutcher. Kutcher has been named as a potential witness in the case. Gargiulo is believed to have killed up to 10 women, including Maria Bruno, 32, in 2005 and 18-year-old Tricia Pacaccio in 1993. He was roaming free until 2008 when he allegedly attacked Michelle Murphy, who fought him off and survived after she was stabbed 17 times. DNA samples from the attack connected him to the three murders and he was arrested in 2008 and has been awaiting trial.

Singer-songwriter Rag'n'Bone Man today married his fiancee Beth Rouy in a low-key ceremony where the bride, groom and guests all wore tracksuits. The star - real name Rory Graham - looked elated as the newlyweds posed for the cameras at Lewes Registry Office and sat in pink velvet thrones (inset). Beth wore a custom-made teal tracksuit adorned with the couple's initials and images of their cat Patricia, while her new husband sported Polo Ralph Lauren grey camouflage print sportswear. The newlyweds, who have a one-year-old son called Reuben, completed their outfits with chunky trainers, shades and gold jewellery. Rag'n'Bone Man's breakthrough track Human made it to number two in the UK charts in 2016 and won a Brit Award in 2018.

Amelia Oxenford (left and right), 21, was caught on camera attacking her boyfriend Alex Buttigieg with a wine bottle and chasing him through a corridor while naked at a hotel in west London. Oxenford (inset outside court last week), of Cambridgeshire, later smashed a glass in their room and cut him across the nose with a shard, while she also broke his spectacles. Today she wept in court as she was handed a 12-month community order at Westminster Magistrates' Court today and ordered to undergo 10 days of rehab.

Dunbar, 60 – dressed in a blazer, smart trousers and checked shirt – placed a fond hand on 41-year-old Miss Maxwell Martin's shoulder as they chatted (inset top).

The Tories are primed to face a hiding in votes taking place across the country today amid fears that they could lose more than 800 seats on councils in England. It is widely believed that Brexit-backing voters in the Shires - which make up the bulk of council seats being contested  - will turn against them after the UK's departure from the EU was twice delayed from March 29. But some - including election guru Professor Sir John Curtice - have claimed the absence of the Brexit Party from the ballots and the lack of UKIP candidates will be a silver lining for the Prime Minister (pictured left today with her husband Philip) and her party, as voters will stay at home instead of backing Labour or the Lib Dems.

The deaths come as Nicolas Maduro sought to reestablish his grip on Venezuela's Presidency as he appeared alongside hundreds of troops, two days after Juan Guaido tried to start a military uprising against him. 'Yes, we are in combat, keep morale high in this fight to disarm any coup plotter,' Maduro said in a televised event, while accusing Guaido of provoking bloodshed. At least two people have died - including 27-year-old Jurubith Rausseo Garcia (inset) who was shot in the head in Caracas on Wednesday - since the start of the 'uprising', with more than 100 injured. While thousands of people joined Guaido on the streets, he has admitted it is 'not enough' to seize control of the country.

Suthida Tidjai's marriage to King Vajiralongkorn (top inset) marks a stratospheric rise for a woman who studied communications before becoming an air stewardess, where she met the future monarch who sometimes worked as a pilot (bottom inset). For years she was kept as his rumored mistress then 'consort' at his home in Germany, where the royal spend the majority of his time, and in 2016 was pictured alongside him near Munich while he wore a remarkable-looking crop top (right). She entered the military in 2010 before being quickly promoted through the ranks, and was promoted to General when she joined Vajiralongkorn's personal guards three years ago. Thai media had never acknowledged a relationship between the two until this week when they married, before attending their first engagement as man and wife (left) ahead of the King's coronation which will begin this weekend.

The account Eva.Stories is bringing the diary of Eva Heyman to life on Instagram. Heyman was one of 430,000 Hungarian Jews deported to concentration camps. The Instagram account follows Heyman's life in Hungary as it was overtaken by the Nazis. We see her go from worrying about crushes to being forced into the ghettos. Creator Mati Kovachi wanted to find a new and creative way to share Holocaust stories with younger generations. He created a series of 70 Instagram stories that chronicle the downward spiral of Heyman's life in the fateful spring of 1944 when the Nazis conquered Hungary.

With fans waiting impatiently for Sunday night new episode of Game of Thrones, HBO has released eight new photos. The photos from the episode, the title of which has still not yet been revealed, showcases the aftermath of the epic Battle of Winterfell. Last week's epic episode, The Long Night, set records as the longest episode of Game of Thrones (82 minutes) and the battle scene is the longest ever seen on either film or television.

Jamie Raines, 25, and Shaaba Lotun, 24, from Essex, met as teenagers at school and became best friends (bottom inset). Jamie, pictured left in school uniform while living as female, said he knew he was male at the age of four (top inset). But the dynamic of their relationship changed when Jamie came out as trans at 16. The pair realised they had romantic feelings for each other, but kept their romance secret in the beginning. When it came out, Shabaa's Muslim mother refused to accept they were an item for four years, but relations thawed when Jamie underwent gender reassignment surgery in 2017. He proposed in September 2017 in front of both families and the couple, pictured right now, will get married next year.

It would have been destroyed in 426AD in a fire at Constantinople.The Lighthouse of Alexandria (bottom right) set the bar high for all others built and was built a burning fire atop a cylindrical tower, atop an octagonal middle, atop a square base.

The lewd book of London's prostitute hotspots even scores sex workers on their looks, with grades ranging from 'a perfect English beauty' to a rather less flattering 'fair, fat and 50. But although some of the descriptions are quite comical, the book also sheds light on the pleasure industry's dark past and the brutal authority inflicted upon the prostitutes by their bosses. The guide is now in the hands of a private collector, who snapped up the book for considerably more than its £1,200 estimated value, but sensational photographs of the book lay bare the big smoke's seedy past.

Sgt. Rianna Conner, who served in the Marine Corps for seven years before becoming a veteran, shot to fame when photos of her dressed in military fatigues juxtaposed with her in U.S. flag emblazoned bikinis blew up on Instagram. The model, who is now attending school in North Dakota, boasts more than 413,000 followers. For her latest shoot, she posed for photographer Robert Alvarado to create a series of racy shots mimicking the style of classic pin-ups.

The Al Wakrah stadium will host matches up to the quarter-finals and contains innovative cooling technology to bring temperatures down for the 40,000 fans. It was designed by the late British-Iraqi architect, Dame Zaha Hadid, who died suddenly of a heart attack in 2016, aged 65. When her plans were first released in 2013 they were said to have been inspired by the flowing shape of a dhow boat, a traditional Arabian pearl diving and fishing vessel. The drawings were topped with a structure resembling the sails of a dhow. But the images went viral with commentators suggesting the stadium looked more like a woman’s private parts.

Pedestrians stopped in their tracks, buses came to a halt on busy streets and cars pulled over on major roads, so drivers could get out and standing with their heads bowed. In homes and businesses, people stopped what they were doing to pay homage to the victims of the Nazi genocide, in which a third of the world's Jews were annihilated. A wreath-laying ceremony at the Yad Vashem memorial followed, with Israeli leaders and Holocaust survivors in attendance. Other ceremonies, prayers and musical performances took place in schools, community centres and army bases around the country. The names of those who died in the genocide are typically read aloud in parliament throughout the day.

Photographers have just one day left to get their entries submitted to the 2019 National Geographic Travel Photo Contest. But they will have to be of exceptional quality if they are to eclipse any of these recently entered images. Park rangers have been left scratching their heads after finding a malformed three-eyed python in the Australian Outback. The snake, who rangers named Monty the python, was discovered in the Northern Territory town of Humpty Doo on the Arnhem Highway several weeks ago.  The strange looking reptile - a Territory long carpet python - was just three months old, 40cms long and had three functioning eyes when he was picked up by wildlife experts in late March. 

A secluded Cornish coastal home with breathtaking sea views has been put on the market for £2.5million, just in time for the British summer. The property Epphaven House (top left), next to Port Quin in Cornwall would be perfect for sunbathers, as it is tucked away in six acres of private grounds which overlook the Atlantic Ocean (centre) from the stunning Cornish hills. Included in the sale is a small area of woodland and a picturesque coastal path, which leads directly to the gorgeous beach at the bottom of the cliff. At present, the four bed property is being used as a holiday let, enabling tourists to enjoy vista from a large panoramic window (bottom right).
