Mother-to-be Meghan Markle was already 'regal' before she joined The British Royal Family, but now provides them with a common touch.

And the former Hollywood actress turned Duchess Of Sussex and her newborn child will be a 'great addition' to the Monarchy as it works towards a new era.

That is the view of Queer Eye star and global modern culture expert Karamo Brown, who feels Markle's 'confidence' and 'authentic' nature are reasons for her popularity.

Author and TV host Brown also believes that the pregnant American brings an understanding of real life for commoners to her new family given that 'she's come from a background that has had challenges.'

In an exclusive interview with DailyMailTV, Brown, 38, feels that she will help educate the many detractors, who have made racist attacks on her heritage.

Brown, who has mutual show business friends with Meghan, is famous for transforming the lives of many contestants on the popular Netflix show, which has just aired for its third series.

Speaking exclusively at the MLB Food Fest Los Angeles VIP night, Brown admitted: 'The thing that I think is really special about Meghan is that she's come from a background that has had challenges, but has also had success and I think that's what makes someone special, regal, and a great addition to a Royal family, because they can say, ''I understand what that every day person is going through - but I also understand what it is to start achieving success,'' and wanting to make sure that you help others achieve that as well.'

Brown, who has appeared on the MTV reality show The Real World, believes that Markle's attitude, human touch and demeanor have won her fans around the globe

'Well I think the thing about any person is confidence and authenticity and I think when you have confidence about who you are and you're authentic about who you are, not trying to hide any part of your identity, is when people respond to you and fall in love with you.'

Over the past three years since details emerged of her relationship with Harry, Markle has been subjected to racist abuse.

In 2016 Prince Harry even made a public statement of his distress at 'racial undertones'.

Courtiers beefed up its social media operation amid a rise in racist online abuse targeting Markle in the months after the announcement of her pregnancy.

The Royal family issued a set of guidelines last week for people engaging with its social media channels.

Brown says that Markle will not bow to the abuse, but has vowed to help change people's attitudes.

Brown, who while born in Texas boasts Jamaican and Cuban descent, added: 'I don't believe most people are racist. I think they're grossly misinformed or miseducated about the history of race, and when you can give someone more education about it, it helps them to grow, to learn.

'And I think that her just being an example of strength and standing strong for who she is, is that example for many people to start to learn about her heritage, her culture, and where she comes from.'

Hollywood lifestyle and fashion king Lawrence Zarian also chimed in on the Duchess in an exclusive interview with DailyMailTV, saying Meghan is an example to young women around the world on how to exude style and class while being in the public eye.

Zarian feels that Markle will become an even greater role model with the arrival of her child.

The Hallmark TV host and author, famous for his long career as a fashion guru, believes Markle's focus on fashion will shift from her look to that of her child.

The popular TV star, who spoke exclusively at the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation’s 24th Annual Taste for a Cure event, believes that this kind-hearted move could lead to a bigger deal with a charity - but insists the former Suits actress is no 'sell out' and will never 'sell out' her child, but may create a fashion line to raise money for one of her charity causes.

Zarian says that the first outfits for her child 'Ii going to mean everything' for the fashion world.

'Everything she puts on it sells out right away. She makes fashion accessible and she is such an effortless beauty. And if a woman or young girl wants to emulate anybody - emulate Meghan Markle.

'With everything we have seen on television and in social media young girls needed somebody to emulate and look up to. And thank God Meghan Markle came along - my bet is on her for everything she does.'

Zarian feels that she will shift her fashion focus to that of her child: 'Meghan's every choice she makes is going to be about the baby. Everything else is secondary.

'She is going to make choices that are simple and effortless. Everything she does is about that child.

'From what I have seen she makes style and fashion accessible, she makes it easy and is never fussy about it, ever.'

In early April Harry and Meghan issued a statement asking well wishers to not send them items, but instead make donations to select charities for 'children and parents in need.'

The charities chosen by the Duke and Duchess are The Lunchbox Fund, Little Village, Well Child, and Baby2Baby.

Zarian believes that this kind-hearted move could lead to a bigger deal with a charity - but insists the former Suits actress is no 'sell out'

He added: 'I could see Meghan going into a partnership with a charity and creating a brand and all the funds and proceeds go to help that charity. She does not cash out. She is not a sell out. She is a class act. She had a pristine history.

'The reason that Harry chose Meghan is because she has got her own sense of self. She knows who she is and she doesn't have to be anything she does not want to be. She chose her specifically because he liked someone that stands tried and true to who she is.'

Zarian has a huge run as a long-term on-air fashion and lifestyle host for Live With Kelly & Michael for almost 15 years, in addition to Steve Harvey, Rachael Ray, The Doctors, The TV Guide Network and Entertainment Tonight.

He spoke alongside brother Gregory as they supported the charity event, where the Gil Nickel Humanitarian Award was handed to Lionsgate’s Television Group President, Sandra Stern.

Taste for a Cure united the entertainment and epicurean communities and consistently ranks among the top ten culinary events in Southern California, all while raising funds for cancer research at the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Zarian admitted it is 'important to raise awareness for the fight against cancer' adding for victims 'it is not taboo anymore, you do not have to go through that ride alone.'

And while Brown is speaking on Markle, don't expect to see her on Queer Eye anytime soon.

Asked if he could see Markle doing a Queer Eye special, Brown smiled: 'No. She has enough things to worry about. She has to run the country.'
