Law & Order creator Dick Wolf, 72, agrees to pay $100k a month to settle his split from his THIRD wife Noelle Lippman

His crime series franchises have made him one of the most successful television producers ever.

Now Law & Order creator Dick Wolf has finalized the terms of a split from his third wife, Noelle Lippman, according to The Blast.

The 72-year-old writer and producer ultimately agreed to give away only a small fraction of his multi-million dollar fortune to his wife of 12 years, believed to be over $100,000 per month.

According to a source, the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place that would have limited how much Wolf could be required to pay.

Still, the source characterized his $100k payments as being 'incredibly generous.'

However, a second source said that the couple's two children primarily live with Lippman, saddling her with most of their expenses.

The Chicago Fire producer reportedly earns $15 million per month, making his support payments to Lippman less than one percent of his monthly earnings.

The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit creator filed for legal separation from Lippman in early December, TMZ reported in January.

The site added that he filed on December 3 and she soon after filed her own documents.

It is not known when or if they will file for divorce.

Lippman requested spousal and child support, and it's unclear how the $100k payments are to be apportioned between her and the children.

He is repped by attorneys Joe Kibre and Jacqueline Misho. She is with Laura Wasser, who has worked with Kim Kardashian and Britney Spears.

Dick was also wed to Christine Marburg from 1983 until 2005 and they had a 12 year legal battle.

The franchise has included six dramas and four international spinoffs.

The first show was canceled in 2010.

It has been nominated for the most consecutive Emmy Awards of any primetime drama series.

Wolf serves as creator and executive producer of the current Law & Order drama series from Wolf Films and NBC Universal Television – Law & Order: SVU — and did so for the four that have been cancelled — Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, Law & Order: UK, and Law & Order: Los Angeles.

He's also in charge of NBC's hit series of Chicago-based shows, starting with Chicago Fire and continuing with Chicago P.D., Chicago Med and the one-season series Chicago Justice.

Notably, the success of Wolf's Chicago series occurred after he and Lippman had signed their prenuptial agreement.
