Padma Lakshmi was on hand to help celebrate the organization's 10th Anniversary Blossom Ball on Wednesday in New York City.
The 48-year-old TV host put on an edgy display for the evening in a striking burgundy gown.

Her dark red dress featured an array of blood-red flower-shaped bows around her bust, held together by a loose set of threads and strings.
The deep red dress featured strips of intentionally ragged fabric cascading down to the floor.
She let her lustrous dark locks rest casually over her shoulders, and she kept her jewelry minimal with a large diamond ring and long beaded earrings.

Padma was joined at the event by one of the three honorees, actress and comedian Fran Drescher, who has been a vocal advocate for uterine cancer screens after beating the disease in the early 2000s.
The night's other honorees were ESPN's Molly Qerim Rose and and Alaia Baldwin, sister to Hailey Bieber.
Padma was also photographed with Dr. Tamer Seckin, who co-founded the organization with her a decade ago.

As one of the founders, Padma was onstage for much of the event.
She shared videos to her Instagram Stories of excerpts from her speech in front of the ball room.

The actress and cookbook knew about her endometriosis since her teenage years, but she first had it treated at age 30 when she had two ovarian cysts removed.
However, she was given inadequate information about the condition by her doctor and didn't realize it was a life-long condition.
She had another operation in 2005 to remove a string of endometrial tissue that had grown to choke off her small intestine, leaving her in excruciating pain. However, she was once again misled by medical professionals following the surgery when her doctor led her to believe the pain would cease following the surgery.
In addition to founding the Endometriosis Foundation of America, helped launch the first center in the US for gynopathology at MIT.
