But Kylie Minogue oozed elegance as she stepped out in London on Wednesday, clad in jeans and a dusky pink longline coat, with a nude fedora atop her head.
The petite beauty, 50, gave a stylish nod to cowgirl chic with a fuchsia pattered neck-scarf, and her jeans half-tucked into tanned leather ankle boots.

Kylie opted to wear a mottled grey sweater beneath her pretty pink coat, and held onto the short straps of a tanned bucket bag as she strolled along.
The pop sensation finished off her look with a pair of dark brown shades shielding her eyes and a nude fedora with a grosgrain ribbon atop her head.

When asked what goes in to being a pop star, she continued: '[It] takes a lot of work, graft and insecurity - not always what the wrapped-up end product looks like.
'It ain't all roses. But maybe otherwise it wouldn't be as sweet in the end.'
After four decades in the industry, the Melbourne-born performer went on to joke that people often tell her to 'slow down'.
'I keep threatening my team that I'm going to retire,' the star laughed, before confirming she's going nowhere anytime soon.

Kylie was supposed to perform at the music extravaganza in 2005, but was forced to pull out a month before when she discovered that she had breast cancer.
'I'm bound to cry. It's going to happen,' added Kylie, while discussing the show.
