Former first daughters - they're just like us! Barbara Bush looks tired as she sips coffee while riding the New York City SUBWAY during morning rush hour commute

Former first daughter Barbara Bush Coyne was spotted riding New York City's subway during an early morning commute. 

The 37-year-old looked tired but otherwise expressionless as she waited among the crowds on the platform on Thursday morning

The former first daughter, best known for co-founding non-profit organization Global Health Corps, was spotted standing on the platform edge as she waited for her subway.

Once it arrived, she joined the swarms of people piling onto the train.

While waiting for her train on Thursday morning, she appeared fresh-faced and more or less makeup-free.

She styled her hair in a low, no-fuss bun at the nape of her neck, and wore a pair of black sunglasses perched atop her head. 

Barbara wore a mid-length white A-line skirt with floral embellishments, which she paired with a contrasting black low cut T-shirt.

She finished the look with a pair of simple black ballet pumps that tied around the ankle, a dainty gold bangle on her wrist and a navy blue tote on her shoulder. 

The activist, who is one of two daughters of former president George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush, carried her iPhone in one hand, and held a cup of coffee in the other.

Her flashy engagement ring, which represents her marriage to husband Craig Coyne, was also on full display.  

The pair married in an intimate wedding back in October 2018, during which they were surrounded by close friends and family.

Around 20 people attended the ceremony, which was held in the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine. 

According to People, the pair met each other on a blind date in November 2017.  While visiting Maine, the couple were walking along the beach when Craig dropped proposed in the same spot Barbara's grandparents got engaged almost exactly 75 years earlier, in August 1943.

During the ceremony, Barbara's father walked her down the aisle before she and Craig exchanged vows in what Barbara described as as 'a very short, sweet ceremony'.   

Today show presenter and Barbara's twin sister, Jenna Bush Hager, served as maid of honor, and her two daughters, five-year-old Margaret and three-year-old Poppy, were flower girls along with Craig's five-year-old niece, Emma.  

The couple recently tied the knot once again in a more lavish celebration that took place Crawford, Texas in April.

Approximately 200 guests attended the couple's second wedding party, including a wider circle of family and friends.  

Guests at the event, which was held at the Bush home, Prairie Chapel Ranch,  included actress Megan Ferguson, Sky Ting Yoga co-founders Krissy Jones and Chloe Kernaghan.

Jewelry designer Siena Crawford, fashion executive Alyssa Zachary, T Magazine editor Isabel Wilkinson, restaurateur Kyle Hotchkiss Carone, and designer Prabal Gurung were also present.
