Rita Ora covers up her famous curves in comfy tracksuit paired with edgy biker jacket as she makes low-key departure from NYC

So Rita Ora naturally had a lot to smile about on Thursday as she made a beaming yet low-key appearance while jetting out of JFK airport in NYC

The star, 28, who was leaving the Big Apple after attending the prestigious Met Gala on Monday, cut a casual figure in a pale grey tracksuit with a biker jacket.

Rita went for total comfort in the loose tracksuit while also covering up with a leather jacket that featured silver zips and studs on the lapels. 

The blonde bombshell continued her relaxed outfit with bright white trainers and covered her eyes with large shades. 

Rita appeared to be listening to some tunes as she wore ear pods and beamed from ear-to-ear as she strode through departures. 

The Hot Right Now singer's departure from New York comes after reports that she recently bought a luxury property for her parents in her native home of Kosovo.

Rita's relaxed look follows on from her pulling out a range of show-stopping ensembles during her stay in Manhattan. 

On Thursday the Pokemon: Detective Pikachu actress dazzled in a bold colourful jumpsuit with a sheer black base and sparkling fringed adornments, hours before slipping into a multi-coloured co-ord for her second outfit of the day.

Highlighting her svelte waist, she wore a thick black belt while adding a further splash of colour with her two-tone perspex heels.

 

Her peroxide blonde locks were locks were coiffed into pin curls while she shielded her face with a pair of trendy mirrored sunglasses.

Later that day, Rita was every inch the style chameleon as she rocked a floral print co-ord, featuring a clingy long-sleeved top and flared trousers. 

Upping the style ante, the blonde beauty appeared to borrow style tips from the 70s in silver platform heels.

She maintained her quirky fashion sense in the accessory department in a pair of purple circle-framed shades.

According to The Sun, the star has recently splashed out on a £1.5million property in a luxury development in the county's capital, Pristina.

Her mother Vera shared a photo of the beautiful home to her Instagram and wrote: 'Home is where the heart is. Even though we live in London it is so important for us and our children and future generations to be able to visit our home town Pristina.' 

A source told the website: 'Rita's whole family have contributed to her success and she wants more than anything to give back to them and make sure they live a comfortable life.

'She is eternally grateful that they gave her a chance in life by escaping Kosovo during the political uprising and is delighted they are able to lay roots back there.'

This isn't the first time Rita has gifted her parents a property, She revealed in 2014 that she had given her six bedroom North London house to her parents after spending £1.3 million on the abode.

Rita revealed her reasons for giving away her home: 'I think I've ended up giving the house to my parents, actually. They need it more than me. I'm never really in one place. I'm back to square one but at least my parents have a place.'

Rita has previously spoken about owing everything to her parents, who came to the UK as refugees from Kosovo.

They scrimped and saved so Rita could attend Sylvia Young Theatre School but nearly blew it all by partying and not taking her education seriously, all while her mum was battling breast cancer - yet now she is working towards paying them back.

Speaking to the Evening Standard about her childhood, Rita said: 'We lived in Earls Court, on the Old Brompton Road. One room for all four of us, my sister [Elena] annoying me by doing her times tables when I was trying to sleep.’

Her brother Don was born in 1998 and the family upped sticks and moved North to Kensal Rise, when her father purchased the Queen's Arms pub in Kilburn.

According to the paper, Rita's parents worked hard to make ends meet, with her mother studying medicine during the day and working as a waitress by night; she now works as an NHS psychiatrist.
