Behati Prinsloo returns to her native Namibia to help save rhinos from poachers: 'This trip is filled with love, passion, adventure'

She is doing her part to help save those who can't save themselves.  

Behati Prinsloo recently returned to her home country of Africa to help save rhinos from being poached. The supermodel took to Instagram to share snaps from her trip, in hopes to raise awareness for the cause. 

The beauty shared shots of the African dessert and said: 'This is were I’ve been. The mother land....Can’t wait to share my adventure.'

On Earth Day in April, she teased her then-upcoming trip with a post dedicated to the rhinos.

And she revealed her partnership with Save the Rhinos Namibia.

Behati did not post to her page again until last week, when she teased of what would come.

In another shot, Behati, dressed in a gray t-shirt, was seen gently petting a rhino while on back of a truck. 

With her posts on Instagram, Behati urged her followers to 'help save' the rhinos, and stated that three are murdered a day in Africa. The star assured fans that it was a 'global issue.'

Behati was born while her father was working in South Africa. 

But her family moved back to their home of Namibia when she was three. 

The beauty was discovered in a grocery store during a family vacation to Cape Town, and left school during her ninth grade year to pursue her career in modeling. 

The Victoria's Secret beauty is now married to Maroon Five's  Adam Levine, and the two share daughters Gio Grace, one, and Dusty Rose, two.
