Appearing on The Sunday Project, the 30-year-old Space Cowboy singer revealed that she still cannot believe how far she's come.

When asked about her incredible feat of winning four Grammys this year, the singer responded with self-deprecating humour.

'What human is equipped with the emotions to know what to do with that kind of situation, the country-crooner said.
'I thought it was kind of ludicrous that I was even in that category to begin with, I mean not ludicrous, I'm very proud and I love my album so much but you know those records are massive, they sell a tonne, they get played on the radio a lot.

'And I know that's not necessarily what the Grammys are about when they pick a winner, but that was a big deal for me to be in the category and so to walk away with all four, at that point I just had to laugh.
'It was just like so comical, it was just like, this is just dumb, but it was amazing.'
Kacey took home four gongs at the prestigious awards ceremony back in February.

Her accolades included Album of the Year and Country Album of the Year for Golden Hour, Best Country Song for Space Cowboy and Best Solo Country Performance for Butterflies.
The Texan born singer songwriter is currently on tour in Australia, promoting her award-winning album Golden Hour.
She plays Sydney on Monday, before moving on to Melbourne on Tuesday and flying to Auckland on Friday.
