Pictured: Grandfather, 62, who ‘killed himself’ a week after being 'humiliated' by Jeremy

Steven Dymond (pictured left) was said to have been left in tears and feeling suicidal after filming for the show (pictured right, host Jeremy Kyle) with his on-and-off girlfriend. The programme, which was due to air this week, was pulled from the TV schedules after the digger driver was found dead in his bedroom on Thursday last week following a suspected suicide. In the days before his death Mr Dymond had reconnected with his estranged son, who told him he had become a grandfather, although he never got to see his son again or meet his grandchild. His landlady, who wishes to be known as Shelley, said he was ‘sobbing and distraught’ when he returned to her home in Portsmouth, Hampshire, after filming for The Jeremy Kyle Show on May 2. She told the Daily Mail last night: ‘Four days later he was dead. I really believe it was the show that tipped him over the edge.’

Morgan and Cole were also found guilty of child cruelty but were cleared of charges of murder and manslaughter after a trial at Stafford Crown Court.

In a bid to clear his name, he had launched a libel claim against the woman who had pointed the finger at him. Starr (pictured left with dancing group Hot Gossip before a show in London in 1981) lost the damages claim against his accuser in the High Court in 2015 that cost him a rumoured £1 million before fleeing to Spain where he spent the remainder of his years. His sister Brenda Hughes said: 'Freddie telephoned me after the case ended. I think it had a big impact on him both mentally and physically. He felt devastated and I don't think he ever properly recovered.'

The 'jaw-dropping' vessel can carry cargoes of up to 110,000 tons - 19,000 tons heavier than itself - including ships, oil rigs and other offshore installations. And its flat deck allows ships longer than it is to overhang the bow. Mr Thomas said: 'I was astonished by the ship while I navigated around it. It was a great sight for me and my guests. You could see it from the land for ages. It looked like a giant oil rig from the land.'

An Indonesian tourist has been arrested at an Australian airport after border force officers allegedly found child pornography on his mobile phone. The 30-year-old man was stopped by Australian Border Force officers at Perth International Airport for a baggage check on his way to Denpasar, Bali, on Sunday. Officers searched his phone at the time and came across three videos allegedly showing the sexual abuse of children.
