But Kanye West's thoughts on Mother's Day were for his late mother Donda, as he paid tribute to her at his Sunday Service.
Launching the first live stream of the Los Angeles now-weekly Sunday service, which takes place near their home in Lost Hills, the 41-year-old rapper began with a musical tribute to his own much-missed mother - who passed away in November 2007.

Kanye opened the Mother's Day service with his 2005 hit Hey Mama.
The song is a ballad dedicated to West's late mother, Donda, describing his affection and appreciation for her having raised him amidst personal hardships and instilling her values in him.
Kanye's daughter North, five, was in the choir and joined in with singing.

The kids then sang 'This little light of mine' under the blue skies as they gathered in the outdoors.
Kourtney Kardashian, 40, attended the special mother's day service, and showcased the airborne tribute they had arranged for the moms.

At one point she appeared to be chatting with Kim, who appeared to be without their new son who was born - via surrogate - on Thursday.

The live stream appeared to briefly show Kris Jenner and Kourtney's ex-boyfriend - with whom she shares 3 children - Scott Disick.

The pastor gave a shout out to the 'West family who had a great new addition this week,' to cheers of the gathered crowd.

The heavily stylised live stream featured the same round fish-eye feed as the rapper had streamed his Coachella Sunday service.
He also appeared to have at least two drones and multiple cameras for the online production.
The band, including musicians with tubas and drums, and multiple microphones to capture the action, was set up in the middle of a canyon, close to their Lost Hills home.
In the background, a satellite truck could be seen in the rural location for the uplifting gospel-based service.
