That was not the only thing that had the crowd gagging either, as Williams was also joined by a mystery man halfway through the night.

While his identity is unknown, he does bear a striking resemblance to her ex husband Kevin Hunter.

Williams was an audience member for the night alongside the likes of Marc Jacobs, Bevy Smith and  Naomi Campbell.

The flawless British beauty did not stay seated long however, and soon found herself joining a few of the featured acts on the runway for a masterclass on stomping, stopping ad swirling on the

The event - which was billed as 'a night of Celebration, Unity and Love' - was put together by FIERCE (Fabulous Independent Educated Radicals for Community Empowerment) with some help from Ralph Rucci and a few other celebrities.

Rucci took the time to create one-of-a-kind pieces for those appearing in the ball while Andre Leon Talley and Sandra Bernhard hosted the festivities.

It was back in April that Williams served her philandering husband of 22 years with divorce papers.

DailyMail.com revealed back in 2017 that Williams' now-estranged husband Kevin Hunter was having an affair with massage therapist Sharina Hudson, and just last month the couple welcomed their first child.

That seemed to be the final straw for Williams, who said she has a new lease on life thanks to her sobriety and had spent the weekend with her sober friends and pow-wowing with her sister.

Williams had been discussing Tiger Woods' victory at the Masters over the weekend and the golfer's redemption in the wake of the very public scandal he endured back in 2008 when it was revealed he had affairs with close to 20 women.

'What we do here is we observe. Their business is our business, these celebrities. You know? We observe,' said Williams.

She then shifted gears to talk about the biggest story of the day, and that mantra that the business of celebrities is the business of her audience.

'It's been the motto of the hot topics bureau since this show was invented during our six-week sneak peek 11 years ago,' explained Williams.

'I know it's crazy, because now my business is your business. Kind of funny!'

Williams then made it clear that she had a sense of humor about the whole situation.

'Turnabout's a fair game, I get! My business is your business,' said Williams.

'I can tell you this, I had a really good weekend. I got together with my girls. I told you, I have my sober friends. I have six of them that are really good. Two of them are my sponsors. They came over to the sober house this weekend and they had wrapped sandwiches but I had the leftover from Tao.'

Then, after briefly going into her penchant for peanut butter noddles and steak over sandwiches, she began to speak about what would be next for her now that she is sober and single.

'It'll be Wendy on the her own. I have to tell you, you know I've been dealing with issues with addiction. Alcoholism, and I have a whole new life that I plan for myself and my son,' said Williams.

'Believe me you, when you lay in a room with no TV and four gray walls all day, and no telephone, and you think, "This is my life," at the sober house. It's one of the best things, honestly, they could have ever happened to me.'

She then spoke to those in the audience or watching at home who might be dealing with their own addiction issues, and urged them to seek help to overcome their substance abuse.

'Addressing my sobriety, my addiction, head-on, has helped me sort out every single compartment of my life,' declared Williams.

The talk show host was also open about her son's struggle with addiction in an interview with Cosmopolitan last year.

'My son smoked K2—they take that grass and they spray it with rat poison or whatever. It’s not weed, it’s not coke. Kids are out there smoking that mess. It’ll turn you into a different person, explained Williams.

'I saw it for myself—this affected [my family] very deeply. I didn’t know whether my kid would ever return to school. The whole time we’re nursing him through [recovery], I’m supposed to make fun on the show like, “Hi! Here’s Wendy! Hahaha!” But I’m dying inside.'

Williams said that she was determined get her son the help he needed having lost 10 years of her own life to cocaine.

'It was a slow process and, for us, it didn’t involve psychiatric drugs or a psychiatrist. We cleaned him out—anything for my boy,' said Williams.

'And now he's graduated from high school with honors, he’s going to college in August. He’s a businessman. He does things. He wants to be an example for people as well regarding substance abuse.'
