Rapper Kodak Black has been arrested for the second time in less than a month on more gun-related charges.

The 21-year-old, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, was about to perform at the Rolling Loud hip-hop festival at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, when he was taken into custody Saturday night.

The arrest was the result of an 'extensive investigation' conducted by local police, the US Marshals and the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives.

Black was booked into Miami’s Federal Detention Center.

Authorities say Black will make an initial appearance in Miami federal court Monday.

Shortly after Black's arrest, rapper Lil Wayne took to social media to tell his fans that he was no longer performing at the Rolling Loud festival.

'To all my fans who came to see me at Rolling Loud, I’m sorry but I won’t be performing,' Wayne tweeted.

'The Festival Police (Not Rolling Loud) made it mandatory that I had to be policed and checked to get on the stadium grounds. I do not and will not ever settle for being policed to do my job and give you guys a great show,' he added.

Wayne said that fans can catch him on tour 'with my bros Blink 182 this summer'.

The Miami performance ended Black's Dying to Live Tour, which kicked off on March 14 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Since then, he has played across the US and Canada.

Black's recent arrest comes barely a month after he was arrested on similar charges for weapons and drug possession at the US-Canada border on April 17.

He posted a $20,000 cash bond and was released from an upstate New York jail a day later.

Authorities said they arrested Black in April on charges of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana as he tried to enter the US across the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge from Canada.

Black was driving a Cadillac Escalade and had two friends with him in the car.

State police, who were called in, said that Black was found to have marijuana and a loaded Glock 9mm pistol in the vehicle.

The rapper was taken to Niagara County Sheriff's Office and charged.

Black had been set to appear at the House of Blues near Fenway Park in Boston around the time of his April arrest.

Fans of the singer reportedly waited outside the venue for hours before his team finally called off the show.

Police were called in to respond to what they described as 'generally unruly behavior' following the concert's cancellation.

Officers say there were about 200 people outside the club and it took about 30 minutes to disperse the crowd.

The musician caused a storm last month when he said he planned to 'pursue' Lauren London, the partner of recently slain rapper, Nipsey Hussle.

'I'll be the best man I can be for her. I'll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year crying and sh*t,' he said.

His bizarre comments came less than a week after Hussle was shot dead outside his clothing store in Los Angeles.

Black later apologized, saying: 'If I disrespected you Lauren London, in any shape or form, I'm sorry.'

The rapper also has several other arrests and charges against him, including rape.

A prosecutor said in early April that Black will likely have to return to South Carolina this year to face a charge of raping a woman after a 2016 concert.

Authorities claim the rapper attacked an adult-age high school student in a hotel room after performing in Florence.
