A young woman who claimed a Good Samaritan sexually assaulted her after helping her fix her car (above) admitted in court she lied about the entire ordeal. Caitlyn Gray told police she was stalked, harassed and eventually assaulted by 36-year-old Kenan Basic (centre) in Bankstown, south-west Sydney, in November 2018. The married father-of-one vehemently denied the allegations, but spent two weeks inside Silverwater maximum security jail in Sydney's west before investigators realised Ms Gray had been lying.

The east ward - which contains steel doors and gates, and better resembles a prison - is used for maximum security prisoners in need of medical attention. While the public rooms have views over Coogee beach, when Milat looks outside his hospital window he can see only prison bars - the same view the killer has faced in jail for the past 25 years.

A Florida agency is investigating potential animal cruelty charges after Clearwater lawyer Thomas Cope (inset) posted video of himself shooing a raccoon off his boat into the Gulf of Mexico. Cowfold farmer West Sussex stops car to carry out emergency c section on dead fox rescue

Chris Rolfe (pictured), 24, spotted the vixen's body as he was driving along the A272 near Cowfold in West Sussex. After he parked his car to go and investigate he found the mother fox had been killed but its stomach was moving with unborn cubs inside. He says 'instinct' kicked in and he rushed back to his car to get a knife, performing a C-section at around 11.45pm before four baby foxes (right) emerged. The farmer, who lives in Haywards Heath, hurried home to his mother Jean, 51, with the babies in his pockets. He doesn't have any veterinary training but had performed a C-section before during lambing season.

Newly discovered color images offer a rare glimpse of 1950s America during its boom years

Wolfgang Wild has always been fascinated with the past, and in 2010 he launched a blog called Retronaut. 'It took off very quickly,' Wild told DailyMail.com. 'One of the posts went viral within the first few weeks. And it grew from there.'
