Heiress to KFC chicken fortune Kaila Methven looked ready to party over the weekend.
The 27-year-old blonde beauty was seen at Dawn Miller's birthday bash held at the Hollywood Hills home of Jonas Tahlin, CEO of Absolut Elyx. The stunning mansion was transformed into a magical balloon-filled wonderland.
Kaila's maternal grandfather, Stanley Methven, was the founder of Rainbow Chicken Unlimited, a South African company that once supplied 90 percent of KFC's poultry.
She now works on Madame Methven, which makes lacy lingerie.

Over 300 balloons filling the ceiling of the main room of the house and then an impressive balloon archway creating a stunning centerpiece to the party.
The balloons became a popular photo moment for guests to capture memories from the party, with a stunning backdrop of the LA skyline it created an instant photo moment.
A second feature of the party was large light installation by the edge of the pool that read YOUNG AF which lit up at night and kept with the fun vibe of the party.

Themed Sparkle & Shine the more than 150 guests did not disappoint, with many of the crowd dressing up for the occasion wearing sequins and sparkly dresses.
British fashion designer Clancey took the theme to the next level with her custom sequin kaftan which perfectly fit with the stylish and flamboyant theme of the night.
Celebrating her 40th birthday the British born publicist Miller chose to wear a silver sequin dress by Alice & Olivia and was joined by her fiancé Slim Keskes and daughter Sienna MayMiller.

Guests enjoyed cocktails early in the evening as the sun set over the Hollywood hills home and sipped on the specialty cocktails created for the night by Absolut Elyx.
Featuring fun names for the birthday girl the Absolut Elyx cocktails were themed 'Since you've been Dawn', 'Dawn's Glitterati' and the most popular 'Natural Born Miller' which were a playful hit with the guests.
As the sun went down over the Hollywood hills home the DJ took to the decks in the living room to spin a mixture of pop, dance and hip hop bringing all the friends and guests to the dance floor.
A highlight of the night was when multi-platinum singer/songwriter Kingston, sang his classic hit 'Beautiful Girls' on the dance floor to Dawn and her friends and when the chorus hit the whole room was singing along.

Guests were also entertained by mentalist Johnny Wu who was showcasing his impressive skills and had everyone in awe around the party, while dancing with the stars professional dancer and current semifinalist Motsepe also joined Dawn and her friends on the dance floor.
Kaila has made quite the impression this year with her sexy shoots.

Although she was born into a wealthy family, Kaila had a tumultuous upbringing that taught her discipline and determination.
Her maternal grandfather, Stanley Methven, was the founder of Rainbow Chicken Unlimited, a South African company that once supplied 90 per cent of KFC's poultry.
She was born in Santa Monica, California, and grew up in Beverly Hills with her South African mother, Lisa Methven, while her estranged Tunisian father lived in Paris, France.

She opened up about her childhood in an interview with Medium in September, explaining that her father left when she was an infant.
'My father left when I was three months old, so I didn’t really have a father figure in my life,' she said. 'Though I did have a stepfather for a couple years, who is old enough to be my boyfriend, disruptive enough to say.'
Her mother was an alcoholic and diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. After becoming ill, Lisa committed suicide when Kaila was just 14 years old.

Kaila's stepfather was unable to raise a teenager and moved on with his life. The heiress recalled only having two options after her mother's death: foster care or moving to France to be with her father.
Although her mother was agnostic, her father raised her in a strict Muslim household where French was spoken, even though she didn't speak the language. She had to live with four brothers and sisters and a stepmother with whom she didn't get along.
'We were seven people living in a one-bedroom apartment on the outskirts of Paris, a two-hour train ride from the city center,' she said. 'I slept on the kitchen floor for about three years and worked as many jobs as I possibly could.

'This Beverly Hills girl had gone from a mansion on Rodeo Drive to the ghetto suburbs of France, literally in an area that would appear on BBC news due to the constant bombing and vehicles lit on fire.'
Kaila said her mother's death and the culture shock of moving in with her father and his family was a 'pretty mentally abusive experience' for her, but she believed there were better things in store for her in the future.
She focused on school and graduated at the top of her class. She traveled around the world to study fashion and finished her MBA at 22.

Kaila said she grew up knowing her grandfather Stanley, noting that his company, Rainbow Chicken Unlimited, was the first provider of chicken for KFC.
'Over the years, the Methven family became the third richest family in South Africa. From there they partnered with KFC and expanded globally,' she explained.
After finishing school, Kaila moved back to Los Angeles where she launched her career as a designer.
'I loved design and history which is why I started Madame Methven,' she said. 'I wanted to share my talent and life experiences with the world through my clothing.'
