Stephen Dymond, 63, died in a suspected suicide a week after taping The Jeremy Kyle Show. His son Carl said Mr Dymond told him Kyle had ‘ripped into him’ on stage before a studio audience. Mr Dymond was distraught after he failed a lie detector test over accusations that he cheated on his fiancée Jane Callaghan. In the wake of his death, MPs, psychiatrists and experts have urged ITV to scrap its 14-year 'theatre of cruelty', as other participants have come forward to tell of their treatment on the show. A former employee has claimed producers aimed to create confrontation for the audience and targeted potential guests on social media with offers of free DNA tests and lie detectors.
PM makes high-risk 'final' Brexit offer to Corbyn as she vows to take her deal back to MPs for FOURTH time in early June with or without Labour support 'then quit in July if it passes'
In a high risk move, Theresa May (main picture, in Westminster yesterday) told the Cabinet that she would finally bring forward the Withdrawal Agreement Bill legislation in the week beginning June 3 – with or without a deal with Labour – in the hope of getting a version of her deal through Parliament at the fourth attempt. That is the same week that President Trump is due to make a three-day state visit to the UK. It will also come just after the May 23 European elections in which the Tories are expected to take a huge battering from voters over delays to Brexit. One poll for a possible general election (pictured bottom) showed the Tories on just 25 per cent of the vote, nine points behind Labour. After weeks of deadlock, the PM told Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn (inset) that the timetable set a two-week deadline on the cross-party talks that have limped on for six weeks.

Third time lucky? Veteran broadcaster Melvyn Bragg, 80, to wed his long-time lover just six months after his 45-year marriage to his second wife ended in 50-second divorce court hearing
SEBASTIAN SHAKESPEARE: Let the bells ring out! I can reveal that distinguished broadcaster Melvyn Bragg (left) is to marry his long‑time lover Gabriel Clare-Hunt (left). The ceremony will take place in his native Cumbria this autumn to coincide with his 80th birthday. The news comes just six months after he divorced Cate Haste (right), his second wife. Cate, who wrote a book about the wives of British prime ministers with Cherie Blair, was granted a 'quickie' divorce in November in a 50-second hearing at the Central London Family Court that brought to an end their 45-year marriage. It is thought that Bragg's daughter, Marie-Elsa, who is a Church of England priest, will officate at the wedding. She is his daughter from his first marriage to Marie-Elisabeth Roche (centre). Known to friends as Lise, Roche killed herself in 1971.

One 83-year-old victim lost more than £1million. But Mrs Graver, 54, appears unaffected by the misery her husband (right) has caused in the photo posted by a friend on Facebook.
Murder suspect, 28, accused of killing his 69-year-old lover and former teacher 'recorded bizarre rap lyrics about a man being euthanised', jurors are told
The rap lyrics (pictured right in a police screenshot), discovered on a dictaphone in suspect Benjamin Field's garage, refer to someone being 'euthanised' and 'the soil of the ground I'll put you under', Oxford Crown Court heard. He also wrote a book of nonsensical poems in a pamphlet on death, in which he wrote about having seen a man killed, jurors were told. Field (second left), 28, and a fellow suspect, magician Martyn Smith, are accused of suffocating lecturer Peter Farquhar (far left), 69, after persuading him to change his will in their favour and plying him with spirits. Mr Farquhar had thought he was losing his mind and visited specialist brain doctors to try and discover what was wrong with him, the court heard. Field and Smith deny the charges.

'Everyone was disappointed that they did not get to catch up with Meghan given everything that has happened to her,' said one high school friend. 'They were so excited to get that letter from her. She is remembered as someone who is very thoughtful.' The Duchess of Sussex's yearbook photo was featured in a display in the school (top right). The reunion was the day before she gave birth to Archie, her first son with Prince Harry (right).

Jeremy Meeks has defended his reputation to DailyMailTV after being branded a gold digger for his relationship with Topshop heiress Chloe Green. The 'hot felon' turned model said there are 'always going to be misconceptions' about his love for Chloe, with whom he shares 11-month-old son Jayden. The 35-year-old defended his future father-in-law Sir Philip Green, who has been accused of serial sexual misconduct. Meeks called the allegations 'lies' and said Sir Philip and his family are 'the kindest people' and asked for the public to 'please leave them alone'. He also expressed interest in branching out from modeling, saying: 'I am going to jump into every space in this industry... but in baby steps'. Tommy Robinson will face new contempt proceedings over claim he filmed people in criminal trial and put the footage on social media, High Court judges rule
Hundreds gathered outside the Old Bailey in London today as it was revealed Tommy Robinson (left and right today) would face fresh contempt of court proceedings for filming outside Leeds Crown Court in 2018. The former English Defence League leader, 36, was jailed for 13 months in May last year over the allegation. But a contempt finding made against Robinson was quashed by the Court of Appeal in August and he was freed from prison after serving two months of his sentence. But earlier this month Attorney General Geoffrey Cox QC said it was in the public interest to bring fresh proceedings. And after a first hearing today it was decided that Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, will definitely face fresh proceedings. Robinson's footage, lasting around an hour and a half, was watched 250,000 times within hours of being posted on Facebook. It was filmed during one of a series of trials of a Huddersfield grooming gang, which was covered by strict reporting restrictions banning publication of any details until the end of the final one in September last year.

Mr Kenny (pictured in Basra in 2006, bottom right), who served during the Gulf War and in Iraq and Bosnia, was mercilessly booed and branded a 'disgrace by the presenter. The father-of-three says he felt extremely low after going on the show and considered taking his own life. He wants to share his story following the death of Steven Dymond - 10 days after he appeared on Jeremy Kyle.

As the Conservatives continue to leak voters to Nigel Farage 's Brexit Party, the Prime Minister's spokesman today said she wanted a deal done before the Commons rises for its summer recess. It came after a lengthy Cabinet meeting in Downing Street this morning featuring a host of ministers already vying to replace Mrs May as party leader amid an increasing clamour for her to set out an exit date. The Conservatives, who were polling at 41 per cent in March, are now on 25 per cent as anger over Mrs May's failure to deliver Brexit grows. The Liberal Democrats would secure 15 per cent of the vote with the Brexit Party on 10 per cent and the SNP on five per cent ahead of new remain party Change UK with a dismal one per cent A separate poll, also by Kantar, also found that half of people want a second referendum Brexit. Calls for Mrs May have intensified since this month's local elections when the Conservatives lost 1,300 seats. Ministers now fear a bloodbath at the hands of Nigel Farage's Brexit Party next week when the country goes to the polls for European parliament elections

Lovell was jailed for two-and-a-half years in 2013 over the attack, which left R-Jay with a series of medical issues including cerebral palsy and daily seizures. He then developed pneumonia in January 2016 and died in hospital. Farage launches new attack on Marr and accuses the BBC of deliberately 'ignoring' the Brexit party, trying to exclude it from Question Time - and even claims the Beeb secretly takes EU money
The Brexit Party leader, 55, (right today) clashed with the broadcaster, 59, (left) on his Sunday morning TV show in a row (inset) that has shocked and split viewers. Mr Farage, who was asked about comments he had made about Putin, climate change and the NHS, said: 'It was bizarre that the ludicrous line of questioning persisted all the way through'. In an incendiary column today, Mr Farage says he is a victim of BBC 'bias' and had to 'fight like crazy' to get on to Question Time on Thursday because 'the BBC now have to gender balance everything'. He also claimed the BBC was 'still receiving a seven-figure sum from the EU, taking millions in this way from the EU during the past decade. It does so secretly, without mentioning this in its accounts. I find this highly suspicious'. The BBC's Media Action charity was paid more than £3million from Brussels in the 2017-18 financial year, but denies this was secretive. Mr Farage's new party is flying in the polls and is predicted to win the popular vote when the European elections take place on May 23.
