In a high risk move, Theresa May (main picture, in Westminster yesterday) told the Cabinet that she would finally bring forward the Withdrawal Agreement Bill legislation in the week beginning June 3 – with or without a deal with Labour – in the hope of getting a version of her deal through Parliament at the fourth attempt. That is the same week that President Trump is due to make a three-day state visit to the UK. It will also come just after the May 23 European elections in which the Tories are expected to take a huge battering from voters over delays to Brexit. One poll for a possible general election (pictured top right) showed the Tories on just 25 per cent of the vote, nine points behind Labour. After weeks of deadlock, the PM told Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn (pictured bottom right) that the timetable set a two-week deadline on the cross-party talks that have limped on for six weeks. 

Shaman Durek, whose real name is Derek Verrett, 44, touched down in Oslo on Tuesday and was greeted by his 'twin flame', Princess Martha Louise, who he is 'madly in love with' (left, center and inset). The pair announced their relationship on Instagram on Monday. A friend of the shaman's tells DailyMail.com that they met when she was one of their clients. Verrett is a Los Angeles-based celebrity favorite who claims to be able to reverse ageing and says he came back from the dead after taking ill. He is the son of an African-Haitian father and Norweigan-Indian mother. Online, he says he first learned he was a shaman when he was two. He has been practising since he was 11 and counts Gwyneth Paltrow and Rosario Dawson among famous fans (right, top and bottom). While he told reporters he was there in Norway to 'spread love', he and Martha will embark on a five-city tour this weekend where they will teach paying crowds about shamanic exercises and meditation techniques. Tickets for the event are being sold online for up to $140 each. 

JANET STREET-PORTER: The ‘heartbeat’ bill passed last week makes it illegal to have an abortion after 6 weeks (the time doctors say they can detect life in the womb) and will become law next January. Georgia follows other states - Ohio, Mississippi, Kentucky, Iowa and North Dakota - in bowing to the right wing lobby and restricting a woman’s right to a legal termination. These reactionary laws drive poor and very young women underground (not the middle classes, who can afford to travel), to illegal local abortionists, who can endanger their lives and potentially ruin their chances of ever having kids when the time is right. I feel so strongly about this, because - as a seventeen year old teenager in London - I was stupid enough to get pregnant by a long-standing boyfriend, at a time when it was almost impossible to get an abortion without telling your parents, seeing a doctor and a psychiatrist. Contraception wasn’t easily available, and I had exams to sit a few weeks away. The new law in Georgia has caused outrage in the USA. A letter signed by over 50 actors and performers calls for a boycott of the state and says productions should be moved elsewhere. The actress and #MeToo activist Alyssa Milano wants women to go on a sex strike in protest and Bette Midler has offered her support. The television star Jameela Jamil tweeted her own experience- ‘I had an abortion when I was young and it was the best decision I have ever made. Selena Gomez looked effortlessly chic as she joined her ethereal co-star Tilda Swinton at the premiere of their new horror flick, The Dead Don't Die, at the opening ceremony of Cannes Film Festival held at Palais des Festivals on Tuesday.  The singer joined  Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria, 44, who stunned in a gorgeous dusty pink gown with a daring thigh-high split. Jeremy Kyle, was seen at his Berkshire home wearing a baseball cap and navy blue hoody (pictured), as calls grow for his controversial show to be axed after the death of digger driver Steven Dymond. Mr Dymond, 63, died less than a week after failing a lie detector test while filming an episode of the controversial ITV daytime chat show, which he had gone on with his on-and-off girlfriend Jane Callaghan (pictured right). He had appeared on the show on May 2 before his body was found at a block of flats in Portsmouth on May 9, although South Central Ambulance officials said he had been dead 'for a number of days'. It comes as calls grow for show to be axed, with MP Charles Walker MP saying it would be 'extremely sensible' if ITV said 'this has gone far enough', adding that it was 'a watershed moment'.

John McFayden (inset) was in the 12-strong gang which terrorised members of the public, carrying out at least 16 robberies across London on stolen motorcycles. The ruthless gang gained notoriety after their final attack (right) was highlighted on social media by Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, 48. McFayden starred in the hit Channel 4 show in 2012, which featured him and his partner Cheyenne Pidgely exchange their vows in front of 300 members of the gypsy community (left).

Magnetic limpet mines were used to blow holes in Saudi oil tankers in the Gulf of Yemen yesterday, experts believe. The mysterious 'sabotage' has sent tensions spiralling in the Middle East as the U.S. blamed Iran and its allies for the attack - but both sides today tried to calm the situation. Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said today there 'won't be any war' while Donald Trump's Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, said the U.S. 'fundamentally does not seek any war' with Iran. It came as two pumping stations on a major Saudi oil pipeline were today attacked by explosive-laden drones, halting the flow of crude along it - just two days after the sabotage of four tankers off the UAE coast.

SEBASTIAN SHAKESPEARE: Let the bells ring out! I can reveal that distinguished broadcaster Melvyn Bragg (left) is to marry his long‑time lover Gabriel Clare-Hunt (left). The ceremony will take place in his native Cumbria this autumn to coincide with his 80th birthday. The news comes just six months after he divorced Cate Haste (right), his second wife. Cate, who wrote a book about the wives of British prime ministers with Cherie Blair, was granted a 'quickie' divorce in November in a 50-second hearing at the Central London Family Court that brought to an end their 45-year marriage. It is thought that Bragg's daughter, Marie-Elsa, who is a Church of England priest, will officate at the wedding. She is his daughter from his first marriage to Marie-Elisabeth Roche (centre). Known to friends as Lise, Roche killed herself in 1971.

Will Barton plays a very watchable mop-top Machiavellian schemer Boris Johnson in Jonathan Maitland's new play which had its opening night yesterday at the Park Theatre, Finsbury Park. Barton delights as Johnson: he has absolutely nailed the rolled shoulders, shifty eyes and fingers tucked, cowboy style, into the belt below his bulging middle. But there are delicious spoofs throughout... including a withering assessment of Dominic Rabb: two As and a B.

Disney released a new preview clip from the upcoming Aladdin movie, which premieres May 24. Will Smith, as the Genie, performs Prince Ali during a parade. Critics are calling the performance 'boring,' 'underwhelming,' and even 'horrendous'. While a few are excited, mostly people have voiced disappointment. Some fans also complained after the first imagery of Will in the role was released.

The JLS singer, 32, raped the 'spaced out, zombified' woman when she went to his hotel room to look for her mobile phone following a gig at a Wolverhampton nightclub, prosecutors said today. The alleged victim said: 'He wouldn't stop until I started crying.' She also described how she lay down like a dead body in a bid to end her ordeal. The fan, who worked at Dortmund Airport in Germany, had been driving when she spotted the German Chancellor's aircraft and jumped out her vehicle to take a photo. But the van rolled into the plane's nose causing a dent - forcing Ms Merkel to delay her return to Berlin. The German Chancellor, who was not in the plane at the time, had to fly by helicopter while the damage was examined.

Manchester City's title winners have been filmed mocking Liverpool by appearing to sing a vile song referring to Jurgen Klopp's side as 'victims' and their fans being 'battered on the streets'. Ilkay Gundogan, Kyle Walker and Vincent Kompany are among the City players who can be seen passing around the Premier League trophy as they celebrate beating Liverpool to the league title, while chanting to the tune of the famous Kop song 'Allez, Allez, Allez' can be heard. On the plane after their 4-1 victory over Brighton they appear to sing a song chanted by City fans this season: 'All the way to Kiev, To end up in defeat, Crying in the stands, And battered on the streets, Kompany injured Salah, Victims of it all, Sterling won the double, The Scousers won f*** all, Allez, allez, allez.'

Tear-jerking footage shows five-year-old Phoenix take on his belt test at Bobby Dixon's American Martial Arts Academy on May 6 in Orlando. The youngster struggles to break a board with a kick, bursting into tears of frustration after repeated failed attempts. With the support of his fellow students, Phoenix eventually snaps the board in two, sending the room into cheers and applause as his friends rush to hug him.

Wolfgang Wild has always been fascinated with the past, and in 2010 he launched a blog called Retronaut. ‘It took off very quickly,’ Wild told DailyMail.com. ‘One of the posts went viral within the first few weeks. And it grew from there.’ After several years and posting thousands of archival images, Wild decided he wanted to turn his attention to color images, and started a new website called the Lost Colour Library. The online collection features images, such as the ones above of 1950s America that show the country from coast to coast: a ferry crossing the river from New York City, inset, to San Francisco, top right, to Chicago, main, to a storefront in Michigan, bottom left.

If the options seem endless for the 3,683 iconic red telephone boxes being offered up by BT for ‘adoption’ by local communities across England, it’s because, well, they are. Since BT came up with their Adopt-A-Kiosk scheme in 2008, more than 5,800 neglected boxes have been converted into everything from plant nurseries to book exchanges.
