He is gearing up to tie the knot with his fiancée Katherine Schwarzenegger, 29.

And Chris Pratt made sure he was in shipshape for the big day as he embarked on a gruelling run in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The actor, 39, was certainly put through his paces as he charged up the hill with his fellow gym goers during the intense bootcamp session.

The Avengers star was drenched in sweat as he led the group up the steep incline.

Chris looked every inch the team player as he donned the bootcamp's khaki slogan t-shirt, pairing it with black gym shorts and a camouflage cap.

Protecting his shins with a pair of knee pads, Chris appeared in high spirits and flashed a smile as he did a set of squats.

Chris is busy planning his wedding to Katherine. While the couple haven't announced when they intend to marry, her bridal shower suggests the date is near.

Late last month, Katherine's mother Maria Shriver threw the bridal shower for her daughter and it was attended by a slew of celebrity guests, including her father and Oprah Winfrey.

People has reported the couple are 'having a blast' planning their upcoming nuptials.

'They have a general idea when they want the wedding to happen, but don't have the exact date yet,' says the insider. 'Katherine is having the best time planning everything. She loves it!'

The source added that Chris 'has been letting Katherine take charge' of all the wedding planning activities.

The Jurassic World star announced on Instagram in January that he had popped the question to Katherine - who is 10 years younger than him. He shared a photograph of the brunette beauty's diamond jewel on her ring finger.

He captioned the post: 'Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I'm thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!'

This won't be the first time Chris has tied the knot as he was previously married to Anna Faris, with whom he has six-year-old son Jack, from 2009 until 2018.

Anna and Chris finalized their divorce last year.
