Taylor Swift returned to The Ellen Show for the first time in four years, in an episode that airs Wednesday, May 15, with the singer opening up about her most rebellious teenage moment, which actually happened on her show.

As she does with many of her guests, Ellen DeGeneres played a game of 'Burning Questions' with the 29 year old singing superstar, when she was asked what the most rebellious thing she did as a teenager.

Swift revealed that her most rebellious moment involved her talking about ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas on a 2008 episode of Ellen when she was just 18.

During the Burning Questions segment, she was asked what the most rebellious thing she did as a teenager was, which caused her to laugh.

'Probably when I like put Joe Jonas on blast on your show,' she began. 'That was too much, that was too much.'

'I was 18, yeah,' she continued. 'We laugh about it now, but that was mouthy, yeah, some teenage stuff there.'

Ellen joked that incident 'held onto you,' because she didn't remember it at all.

The incident in question came in a November 2008 episode of Ellen, when she was promoting her second album, Fearless.

Ellen mentioned that most of the songs on that album were about 'boys and love,' and she asked if one of said boys was Joe Jonas, when she revealed they had broken up.

'There's one (song) that's about that guy, but that guy's not in my life anymore, unfortunately. That's ouch,' she said.

Ellen mentioned that Swift told her that she used to drive by her ex-boyfriends' houses, in the episode, adding she wouldn't do that to Jonas because he had many bodyguards.

She also said that she got a last-minute recording session in when she realized the relationship was going downhill, right before the album came out.

Speaking out: 'There's one (song) that's about that guy, but that guy's not in my life anymore, unfortunately. That's ouch,' she said

'We haven't talked since, but you know what, some day I'm gonna find someone really really great who's right for me,' Swift said at the time.

'When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18,' she concluded, which brought quite a reaction from the crowd.

Swift has been dating Joe Alwyn since September 2016, and Joe Jonas is currently engaged to Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.

Also during the Burning Questions segment, Ellen tried to get the singer to reveal the name of her next single.

'I can't tell you that. That's crazy,' she said, and when asked if she could 'sing some of it,' she refused with a laugh.

She also admitted to eating a lot in her sleep, adding, 'it's not really voluntary,' discussing her favorite TV shows like Game of Thrones, Killing Eve and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

She also shot down a strange rumor that she had some sort of involvement in the Marvel blockbuster Avengers: Endgame.

'There were some fans who thought I had something to do with Avengers: Endgame, which I would have loved to had I been asked, but I wasn't,' she said.

'We had a single coming out the same day, and I had a song called Endgame, so they were like, "Oh my God, she's gonna defeat Thanos," so I let everyone down, again,' Swift said.
