Bruce Willis didn't find much love from Phillies fans in the City of Brotherly Love, when he bounced his first pitch attempt to the plate on Wednesday.

The 64 year old actor was tasked with throwing out the first pitch at before the game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Milwaukee Brewers.

The moment was captured by NBC Sports Philadelphia Twitter, showing Willis' throw bouncing in front of the plate, leading to Philly fans booing the action icon.

Willis was seen tipping his hat to the crowd, as he walked to the mound wearing jeans and a custom Phillies jersey with Willis and the number 19 on the back.

While most who are charged with throwing out the first pitch do so from the actual pitcher's mound, Willis stood a few feet in front of the plate.

The actor was all smiles as he met Phillies relief pitcher Aaron Nola, who caught for him, as they shook hands and posed for photos as the crowd booed.

He was also seen taking batting practice before the game at Citizens Bank Park, making contact at the plate a few times.
