The British actress, 68, from Hayes, admitted that she had tried Botox once, but after it left her 'looking like a unicorn', she vowed never to use injectables again - arguing that they got in the way of the expressive facial muscles she needed to act.

Jane, who is best known for her performances in the James Bond film Live and Let Die, also revealed she uses the 'prayer technique' to banish any bingo wings.

Speaking to Ruth Langsford, 59, and Eamonn Holmes, 59, about trying Botox after a friend recommended it, she said: 'I tried Botox once and I felt like a unicorn, my brows were so raised I didn’t look normal. 

'I‘m an actress and it’s important for me to have the muscles moving, so filler is a terrible mistake.'

She added: 'When other people do these things to their face it puts it off-kilter so you automatically wonder what they had done'.

Revealing her beauty routine, she continued: 'My tips are always to have really clean skin - exfoliate and use cold water, plus use a great moisturiser that goes deep into the pores.

'I always use SPF and wear a hat and large glasses, especially on the beach. However you want some vitamin D and sunshine'.

She added: 'Some of the less expensive products work just as well if not better'.

Speaking about how she keeps her body so toned, Jane said: 'I try to exercise wherever I am. Sometimes I improvise with exercise, at home I do spinning. I walk around London and try to get cardio.'

And admitting she loves to keep her hair long as there's 'so much more you can do with it', she added: 'I have my hair coloured every three weeks, and wash it every day and use masks and even cut my own hair'.
