Luke Evans was left 'star-struck' when he visited Jennifer Aniston whilst filming Murder Mystery and met her Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow

Luke Evans said working with Jennifer Aniston on Netflix film Murder Mystery left him star-struck when she gave him a surprise introduction to Lisa Kudrow.

The actor, 40, discussed his amazement when the actress, 50, invited him to her house, only to discover her Friends co-star was visiting.

In an interview set to be shown on Friday's edition of The Graham Norton Show, Luke explained: 'She kindly invited me to dinner at her house and being a little star-struck I couldn’t believe it when Lisa Kudrow walked in.

'I was trying to play it cool, but Lisa sat one side of me and Jennifer on the other and I had one of those "pinch me" moments and thought, "Wow, I am sitting in between Phoebe and Rachel."'

Luke stars in the film alongside Jennifer and Adam Sandler, the pair play a married couple who go on a European vacation to reinvigorate their marriage.

Talking about his time on set, the actor admitted 'It was [a] fun and a very enjoyable job to have' because it almost felt like a holiday.

He joked: 'It was a great summer and I had a really easy schedule so spent most of the time in a hotel on Lake Como – I’ve never had so many people visit me on set!'

In the film, Jennifer and Adam's characters have a chance meeting on a flight with a mysterious man, who invites them to an intimate family gathering on a super-yacht with an elderly billionaire.

However, the wealthy man is later murdered on the vessel, making the couple prime suspects.

Jennifer and Adam are something of a dream team on-screen, having already starred together in 2011's Just Go With It, which raked in a huge $215 million worldwide.

Luke is set to appear on the chat show alongside Game of Thrones’ star Gwendoline Christie, footballing great Peter Crouch, David Walliams and Sam Fender.

For the first time in the show's 20 years, the show will feature Jack Whitehall as a guest host in place of Graham Norton, who will be busy at Eurovision in Israel.

The Graham Norton Show will air on BBC One on Friday May 17 at 10.35pm.
