The snap, which is believed to have been taken by someone working at a hedge fund in the building next door, shows A-Rod playing on his phone while relieving himself. Rodriguez decided against closing the curtains while visiting his marbled washroom at their New York City pad, and he can be clearly seen sitting on the throne in a blue shirt. The couple's apartment at 432 Park Avenue is seen in the inset photo.

Convicted sex offender and accused killer Nicholas Brent Gibson, 32, made a number of shocking statements outside the Manhattan Criminal Court on Friday after waiving extradition to Florida. Asked by a reporter about the killing of 77-year-old Erik Stocker in Miami Beach in April, Gibson first claimed he murdered the man with his bare hands, then said he did it with a big samurai sword. Then while awaiting transport back to jail, Gibson said he's been on a killing spree since age 12 and put the number of his victims at 32.

A father who allegedly strapped his three-year-old daughter into the booster seat of a car he then set alight has been arrested on murder charges, police said Friday. Martin Pereira, 39, from Valley Stream, Long Island, was also charged with arson and reckless endangerment for the horrific May 5 incident in Queens that left Zoey Pereira, (pictured left), dead, police said. Pereira,(pictured inset with Zoey), allegedly strapped the three-year-old into her seat, chained the Audi A6 car shut with the girl inside, doused it with gasoline and set it ablaze in a park in Queens, New York. 

When Uber debuted on the New York Stock Exchange on May 10, employees on the West Coast were invited to company parties starting at 5.30am PT, prior to the opening bell. Mimosas and other booze flowed freely at the satellite parties, where workers watched with glee on television as Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi presided over the opening bell. As employees, many of whom own shares in the company that they can now cash out, got wild in their celebrations, a party at one California satellite office was shut down, an Uber insider.

WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro has died at the age 39 from undisclosed, but non-criminal causes after being rushed from her home on Long Island (inset) to a hospital on Thursday morning. Massaro was a WWE Superstar from 2005 to 2008. The April 2007 Playboy cover model (shown at right) also competed on the reality series Survivor: China.  The WWE organization released a statement in response to the death, offering their condolences, saying, 'We are saddened to learn of the tragic death of former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro.' The mother-of-one is pictured at left in New Jersey in 2014.

Meghan (right with Harry for Archie's first public appearance), who gave her name as 'Rachel Meghan Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex', listed her occupation as 'Princess of the United Kingdom' (inset) as her son's birth was registered by her husband the Duke of Sussex today. Archie's birth certificate (left) confirmed the place of birth as the Portland Hospital and dismissed speculation that Meghan, who married Harry a year ago on Sunday, had a home birth in the sanctuary of Frogmore Cottage - the Sussexes' home on the Windsor Estate. Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, the seventh in line to the throne and an eighth great-grandchild for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, arrived at 5.26am on May 6, weighing 7lb 3oz. Until now, the duke and duchess have been trying to keep the birth location private and details of their medical staff a secret. But the certificate from the City of Westminster register office revealed some key details.

Video shows furious customer, Joshua J Anderson, known on Instagram as 'richyrich' standing outside the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills and berating the valet manager for 'joyriding' in his half a million dollar sports car with the top down. The valet manager attempts to defend himself but angry Anderson is not to be placated during the video. He is seen to take off in his car that has the car registration plate, FAILURE, at the end of the video.

Kim Kardashian has shared the first photo of her fourth child with Kanye West and revealed the bouncing baby boy's name is Psalm. The 38-year-old reality star took to Instagram to share a screenshot of a text message conversation with her 41-year-old husband. In it there is a snap of the newborn with a caption seemingly revealing the name: 'Psalm West.'

A Michigan school superintendent has been suspended without pay after she served champagne during a celebratory brunch for two retiring teachers, district officials have revealed. Jennifer Mast, Superintendent for Dearborn Heights District 7, popped a bottle of bubbly at a gathering of 12 administrators at the district board’s office on the first-day of summer last June, in a bid to send off a retiring principal and special education director in style. However, despite the fact that all students and teachers had left for the year, district officials say Mast violated a policy that bans alcohol from being brought onto school property.

Police have arrested the boyfriend of a woman (Chantel Oakley, inset) whose 15-year-old daughter they believe was murdered when she went missing 10 days ago in West Virginia. They said they are 'very confident' decomposed remains discovered Thursday belong to the girl. Riley Crossman (right) vanished May 7 and law enforcement said the partner of the teen's mother, 41-year-old Andy J. McCauley, Jr. (left), has been a 'suspect from day one'.

Dr. Danielle Roberts, 37, was identified as a bikini-clad brunette pictured looking relaxed as Nxivm's lush resort headquarters in a 2014 photo.The photo was taken by member-turned-whistleblower Mark Vicente and shown in federal court In Brookyln. Vicente has accused Roberts of branding female members with the leader of the group Keith Raniere's initials. Raniere faces charges in federal court of forming a secret society within his self-help organization that forced women to have sex with him, he denies all charges. Roberts hasn't been charged with a crime but according to court documents she is under investigation on suspicion of violating state standards.

Tiffany, 25, and her boyfriend Michael Boulos enjoyed a two-and-a-half-hour shopping trip inside Harrods on Thursday. The first daughter was seen showing Michael her sparkly pink sneakers before they headed into the British department store. Tiffany donned black cropped jeans, a sparkly T-shirt, and a pale pink blazer that matched her flashy sneakers. Michael was dressed even more comfortably in a black hooded sweatshirt, a pair of Adidas tearaway track pants, and black Nike sneakers. Tiffany traveled to London to visit her boyfriend just one day after her spring semester at Georgetown Law officially came to a close.

CBS This Morning anchor Gayle, 64, interviewed a few of Meghan's close friends, including makeup artist Daniel Martin (left), for a new TV special. Actress Janina Gavankar, 38, who has known 37-year-old Meghan for over a decade, also spoke with Gayle, as did A-lister Jessica Alba. CBS has aired several sneak peeks at the special, which airs on Friday evening, and it does not appear that either Prince Harry or Meghan appear on camera, despite suggestions that Gayle (inset) may have sat down with them to film when she visited Windsor on a highly-touted trip just hours before their son Archie was born. Although it does not appear that Gayle filmed with the couple, CBS was the only foreign news outlet to be allowed a camera in when Harry and Meghan introduced their baby. Gayle is close with Meghan and even attended her New York baby shower, and it is thought that she was introduced to them by her best friend Oprah, who attended the royal wedding and is making a docuseries with Harry.

The crystal-clear video shows two GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators (MOPs) being employed against a ground targets at an undisclosed location.Footage shows the 33,000lb bombs being dropped from the weapons bay of a B-52 and disappearing deep into the earth before exploding in an enormous ball of flames. They have worked together on more than 30 albums, with a hiatus between 1977 and 1979.

A minor league baseball announcer became the subject of his own broadcast during a recent game when he managed to catch a foul ball through an open window in his booth while describing the action to his listeners. Marc Schwartz, a broadcaster and media relations director for the Somerset Patriots of the independent Atlantic League, was filmed making the catch at the team's home stadium in New Jersey. '[Stephen] Cardullo swings and fouls it off, towards the broadcast booth, and I make the catch on the foul ball,' Schwartz yelled. Then, while continuing to provide vital information about the game, Schwartz patted himself on the back: 'I am very proud of myself. I hope somebody got video of that, as I caught it on the fly. And it's a 1-2 count. Boy am I impressive. What a play by me.' Schwartz celebrated by raising both hands and pumping his fists in the air - a move he did recently while catching another foul ball. 'When it comes to broadcast booth celebrations, I really only have one move,' Schwartz wrote on Twitter. 'Hope that is cool k thanks!'

Bella Hadid and Amber Heard sizzled as they  led the celebrity arrivals at the glittering Cannes Film Festival premiere of Pain and Glory on Friday. The supermodel, 22, and the actress, 33,  commanded attention as they walked the red carpet, clad in couture gowns with statement trains.

Beauty guru Tati, 37, released another video about James, 19, on Thursday evening. In the video, she explained why she decided to post a tell-all about the YouTuber. Tati said she did not anticipate all the hate towards James or that it would entail him losing more than three million subscribers online. She then called for the 'hate to end' and for people to stop picking sides. Last week, Tati accused James of being disloyal and manipulating straight men. This led to a plummet in James's followers, as Tati gained close to five million.

Fifty-three-year-old golfer John Daly is thoroughly enjoying his time at the US PGA Championship. The PGA of America has come under criticism for giving Daly access to a cart for medical reasons and Tiger Woods was among those against the decision.  A committee on the American with Disabilities Act gave Daly an exemption because the arthritis in his knee would have prevented him from competing.

Naude Dreyer, who has rescued more than 600 wild seals from dangerous discarded rubbish, was filmed rescuing the animals at Pelican Point, in Walvis Bay, Namibia. In the clip, the 36-year-old chases down the panicked seals to cut away the tight netting from around their necks. Holding the animal between his legs, he keeps one hand behind their head as he frees it from the nylon coils. In a matter of moments, the seal is freed and heads back to the ocean.

Christiaan Snouck-Hurgonje was deployed by the Dutch to spy on Indonesian nobility in the Gulf during an era of colonization of southeast Asia by the Dutch East India Company (pictured: the Dutch explorer, top left; his famous photo of Mecca; and pilgrims on the road to the city with their camel, top right). The Islamic scholar used his expertise and Arabic fluency to fool the locals into thinking he had converted to Islam and gain access to the holy city at Mecca. He was the first Western scholar to be granted access to Mecca and the first to photograph its famous shrine.

Grumpy Cat, owned by Tabatha Bundesen from Morristown, Arizona has died aged 7 from a urinary tract infection, after becoming an internet sensation thanks to her famous scowl. Grumpy, whose real name was Tardar Sauce, was born with dwarfism and an underbite, giving her a disgruntled expression. She shot to fame in a 2012 YouTube video.

NBA prospect Tacko Fall has yet to play in a professional game, but the enormous Senegalese center is already setting league records after measuring 7foot7 in sneakers at the NBA Draft combine in Chicago. The combine records date back to 2000, by which point the league had already seen 7foot7 giants such as Manute Bol and George Muresan, so Fall won't necessarily be the NBA's tallest player ever. (Muresan is unofficially considered the tallest player as Bol was measured at slightly taller than 7foot6). As far as the official all-time NBA Draft Combine measurements are concerned, Fall now ranks first for height with shoes (7foot7), wingspan (8foot2.25), standing reach (10foot2.5) and hand length (10.5 inches). The 23-year-old former Central Florida star measured 7foot5.25 without shoes. Fall was also the heaviest player at the combine at 288 pounds, but that is strictly due to his height and build. His body fat measured at just 6.8 percent. Despite Fall's overwhelming size, he is not guaranteed to be selected in June's NBA Draft. NBA centers are now asked to set screens on the perimeter, away from the basket, where Fall typically played in college. (A screen consists of an offensive player impeding the path of a defender to allow to a teammate to have more space). 'I think Tacko Fall can play in the NBA and be on an NBA roster and help in certain spots, but the game has changed,' said ESPN analyst Jay Bilas, a former Duke player and assistant coach. 'You're not going to have low-post players anymore. It just doesn't work that way.'

T.E Lawrence, who was given the name 'Lawrence of Arabia', was living in a boarding house run by Fanny Hatcher in Birmingham Street, Southampton, Hampshire in 1933. The war hero was living under an assumed name, Aircraftman Shaw to avoid the attentions of the press who had learned of his wartime service. Lawrence handed over several items to Mrs Hatcher's son Donald, 13, shortly before he died in 1935.

This is the dramatic moment police officers in Canada raced to help save the life of a man who was trapped underneath a car, holding the weight of the vehicle for an astonishing one minute and 44 seconds. Nine Saskatoon Police officers in total worked to stop the 22-year-old man being crushed underneath the weight of the vehicle (left) and a video released this week shows their heroic efforts. While the aerial clip (right) begins with just a few of them struggling to hold the motor up, more cops are seen dashing toward the scene and contributing their strength.

Filmed on May 4 in Welcome, North Carolina, the filmer used the blasting force of the water to sculpt away all the blackened dirt. The filmer explained: 'After sitting outside for ten years, and having freshly acquired a power washer, these chairs had no chance. 'Ultimately I do not advise sitting in plastic chairs that have gone through these conditions as the plastic can become very brittle and break without notice.' They later added: 'It does make for a satisfying view though.'
