Arrow creator Greg Berlanti and husband Robbie Rogers announce birth of their second child

Arrow creator Greg Berlanti and husband Robbie Rogers have welcomed their second child, Mia Barbara Rogers-Berlanti.

The 46-year-old TV writer-producer and his 32-year-old TV producer/former soccer player husband also have a two year old son Caleb through a surrogate.

Berlanti and Rogers were married in December 2017, and they both shared the first photos of their second child on Instagram.

'Welcome to the world Mia Barbara Rogers-Berlanti. 5/13/19. Our hearts and our family have grown even larger,' Berlanti said.

'@robbierogers has already mastered two child multitasking, big brother Caleb is being just sweet enough & I’m as thankful and in awe as ever,' he continued.

'The "Barbara" is for my amazing Mom, who though she’s not here to share in this moment, will be watching over her granddaughter Mia forever— and laughing as Robbie and I figure out the parenting skills she mastered so perfectly,' he concluded.

Rogers posted his own photo on Instagram, with his own tribute to his second child.

'Mia Barbara Rogers-Berlanti born a day after my Birthday on May 13th, 2019 she’s already absolutely obsessed with Dadda G and her brother,' he began.

'Caleb tolerates her ;) — I couldn’t have dreamt up a more perfect way to celebrate my birthday,' Rogers said.

Berlanti broke his own record earlier this month, with the producer involved in a whooping 18 shows that will all air on broadcast networks this season.

Berlanti had three new shows get picked up for the 2019-2020 TV season, Fox's Prodigal Son and The CW's Katy Keene and Batwoman. 

Those programs join his CW shows All-American, Black Lightning, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Riverdale, Supergirl.

He also has Blindspot on NBC, God Friended Me and The Red Line for CBS, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and You for Netflix and Doom Patrol for the DC Universe digital service. 

Even with having all of those shows on the air, Berlanti still found time to direct the 2018 teen drama Love, Simon.

He is also attached to write and direct the DC superhero adventure Booster
