Victoria Beckham packed herself on a flight to Munich to visit the Lanserhof Tegernsee health retreat for a 'week's detox', where she drank moon water, enjoyed cycle rides though mountains and adopted clean-eating.
The 44-year-old checked into the luxurious former holiday hotel, which, according to the website 'has been setting standards in modern medicine based on the F.X. Mayr philosophy for more than 30 years.'
The idea at the heart of FX Mayr is the idea that a poor diet is the root of most modern ailments and health concerns and the most important route to good health is through the gut.

Victoria shared a video of herself in her hotel room to Instagram Stories and said: 'I'm here at Lanserhof and I've got to be honest, it is much much nicer than I expected. I have unpacked my toiletries.
'The bathroom is actually super nice. I was expecting something much more hospital-y, so this is a real pleasant surprise and I'm really excited to get some rest, to get some great treatments and go out tomorrow and explore.
In the video, Victoria was wearing a green striped pyjamas which were monogrammed with 'VB' in red stitching.

On the bathroom, she had placed a range of expensive looking creams, as well as her Louis Vuitton toiletries bag and an orange Hermes wash bag.
The next morning, she shared a picture of the stunning mountain landscape as she went on a bike ride.
Then she posted a picture of her daily vitamins which included a Skinade drink sachet, a packet of tablets and a sachet of Omnibiotic, to encourage the wellbeing of your digestive system, particularly when travelling.

She went on the trip solo back in March, but has only shared the images now. She even posted a snap of herself in bed that evening, writing, 'bedtime on my first night.'
After a restful night's sleep, Victoria showed off her glowing skin as she went make-up free, wearing a fluffy white towel and with her hair wrapped up in another white towel, ahead of a facial.
Sharing pictures of her food plan on her clean eating day, she had an omelette with cottage cheese for lunch alongside some avocado and a sharon fruit.

Enjoying a second walk in the mountains, she shared a video of a glass bottle of 'moon water' which she was drinking.
She said: 'So I am here at Lanserhof in Germany, and they've just given me this water, which is a special water. It is collected locally, here in Munich, but only on a full moon.
'Apparently this is very healthy water, an incredible water and great for the skin. Where am I going to get this when I leave Germany?'
