'There's no beef between us': Haim bassist Este calls Cheryl live on air after leaving BRITs viewers in stitches with her hilarious 'drunk' video-bomb

Hijinks ensued at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday as Jack Whitehall chatted to Liam Payne and ladylove Cheryl... with Haim bass player Este Haim, 31, getting involved in the backdrop as she cheekily flirted with the camera.

And on Thursday morning the Want You Back singer - who sat behind the pair at London's O2 Arena -  gave Cheryl a call to clear things up as she joined Nick Grimshaw on his Radio 1 breakfast show.

Having thrown a sultry look towards the camera while pretending to apply lipstick - all while Liam and Cheryl remained unaware that the joke was on them - Este phoned the mother-of-one to explain the situation, insist there was 'no beef' between them and to sweeten the deal with an invite to HAIM's forthcoming summer concert at Alexandra Palace.

HAIM co-hosted the post-Brit Awards show with Nick – and refuelled from the night before by enjoying a Domino’s pizza party, ordering 20 boxes of Domino’s which arrived at 7:30am.

Nick - who confessed he had not been to bed and instead had spent the hours of 3AM to 5AM watching Location, Location, Location and eating pasta - thought it might be fun to call Cheryl so that Este could 'apologise'.

They put it on loud speaker - and came perilously close to revealing the Ghetto Baby singer's personal phone number when it went straight to voicemail - and Este left Cheryl a message.

She insisted that there was 'no beef' between them and insisted that she loved Cheryl and Liam.

Of the pizza delivery, Nick said: 'Remember when Stormzy delivered pizza to us last year? It’s happened again, we have a lot of pizza in the live lounge at the moment.

'HAIM are with us, quite a lot of pizza in their mouths at the moment!'

They also played a game discussing what different celebs would enjoy the morning after the Brits.

Este - who donned an eye-catching flower crown for the star-studded event the night before - playfully gestured for the camera to 'call me' while trying desperately to wink to the viewers at home.

In amidst the amusing video-bomb, singer Cheryl teased that she and boyfriend Liam enjoy a wild sex life during the live TV broadcast.

Despite mounting speculation over the status of their relationship, Cheryl, 34, and 24-year old Liam looked smitten as they attended the music extravaganza.

The couple were enjoying the start of the show at their table when host Jack Whitehall decided to pick them out for an on-air interview for the ITV viewers at home.

Referencing Liam's upcoming performance on the night of Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack song For You, Jack cheekily referenced the erotic thriller's S&M theme.

'You're performing later, the song from the Fifty Shades film, it's going to get quite racy... is there a safe word?' he asked.

Liam then motioned towards Cheryl, saying, 'She knows what the safe word is,' to which the former Girls Aloud star added: 'Don't stop!'

It was a rare joint appearance by the couple since the birth of their baby son Bear 11 months ago, and comedian Jack, 29, asked: 'How's date night going so far?'

'Going great so far,' Liam responded, as Cheryl looked on silently. 'We're having a good time.'

The couple were seemingly in good spirits following days of rumours that the pair are ready to split - with friends close to Liam saying he's reportedly seeking legal advice on help with what to do should they break up.

Hosted by the English comedian, fans saw performances from the likes of Clean Bandit, J Hus, Jorja Smith and Stormzy and Liam.
