The snap, which is believed to have been taken by someone working at a hedge fund in the building next door, shows A-Rod playing on his phone while relieving himself. Rodriguez decided against closing the curtains while visiting his marbled washroom at their New York City pad, and he can be clearly seen sitting on the throne in a blue shirt. The couple's apartment at 432 Park Avenue is seen in the inset photo.

A father who allegedly strapped his three-year-old daughter into the booster seat of a car he then set alight has been arrested on murder charges, police said Friday. Martin Pereira, 39, from Valley Stream, Long Island, was also charged with arson and reckless endangerment for the horrific May 5 incident in Queens that left Zoey Pereira, (pictured left), dead, police said. Pereira,(pictured inset with Zoey), allegedly strapped the three-year-old into her seat, chained the Audi A6 car shut with the girl inside, doused it with gasoline and set it ablaze in a park in Queens, New York. 

The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School's yearbook staff paid a touching tribute to the therapy dogs that have been comforting students at the Florida school where the deadly 2018 mass shooting occurred. The school's 'Aerie' yearbook staff tweeted out a photo of the dogs' yearbook page, showcasing the 14 therapy dogs, each smiling in individual portraits which were professionally shot and matched those taken of the students. Therapy dogs were first brought to the school to two weeks after the Valentine's Day 2018 shooting occurred to help survivors cope with the incident which left 17 students and staff dead at the school in Parkland, Florida. At one point, there were as many as 40 of the dogs on campus. These 14 featured dogs, however, have been on the school's campus daily all year, attending classes, greeting the teens during lunch and wandering the hallways while interacting with students and helping to ease their anxiety.

Officer Valerie Cincinelli, 34, (left) was arrested on Friday in an FBI sting after federal agents staged an elaborate ruse to convince her that the alleged murder-for-hire had been carried out. The twisted saga dates back to February, when prosecutors say that mother-of-two Cincinelli approached her new boyfriend urging him to find a hitman who could off her estranged husband, Isaiah Carvalho Jr (right). But instead of going forward with the plot, the boyfriend rushed to the FBI with the information and became a secret informant, according to charging documents. On February 18, prosecutors say that Cincinelli moved forward with the plot by withdrawing $7,000 from a TD Bank branch, giving the money to the boyfriend to buy five ounces of gold coins to be used to pay the purported hitman.

Gavankar, an actor and friend of the U.S.-born duchess, told CBS News: ‘I think she'll be very low maintenance. ‘I think that she will be very hands-on, the way she would have been if she hadn't married into the royal family.’

Archie's birth certificate (left) confirmed the place of birth as the Portland Hospital and dismissed speculation that Meghan, who married Harry a year ago on Sunday, had a home birth in the sanctuary of Frogmore Cottage - the Sussexes' home on the Windsor Estate. Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, the seventh in line to the throne and an eighth great-grandchild for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, arrived at 5.26am on May 6, weighing 7lb 3oz. Until now, the duke and duchess have been trying to keep the birth location private and details of their medical staff a secret. But the certificate from the City of Westminster register office revealed some key details.

Convicted sex offender and accused killer Nicholas Brent Gibson, 32, made a number of shocking statements outside the Manhattan Criminal Court on Friday after waiving extradition to Florida. Asked by a reporter about the killing of 77-year-old Erik Stocker in Miami Beach in April, Gibson first claimed he murdered the man with his bare hands, then said he did it with a big samurai sword. Then while awaiting transport back to jail, Gibson said he's been on a killing spree since age 12 and put the number of his victims at 32.

When Uber debuted on the New York Stock Exchange on May 10, employees on the West Coast were invited to company parties starting at 5.30am PT, prior to the opening bell. Mimosas and other booze flowed freely at the satellite parties, where workers watched with glee on television as Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi presided over the opening bell. As employees, many of whom own shares in the company that they can now cash out, got wild in their celebrations, a party at one California satellite office was shut down, an Uber insider.

WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro has died at the age 39 from undisclosed, but non-criminal causes after being rushed from her home on Long Island (inset) to a hospital on Thursday morning. Massaro was a WWE Superstar from 2005 to 2008. The April 2007 Playboy cover model (shown at right) also competed on the reality series Survivor: China.  The WWE organization released a statement in response to the death, offering their condolences, saying, 'We are saddened to learn of the tragic death of former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro.' The mother-of-one is pictured at left in New Jersey in 2014.

Video shows furious customer, Joshua J Anderson, known on Instagram as 'richyrich' standing outside the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills and berating the valet manager for 'joyriding' in his half a million dollar sports car with the top down. The valet manager attempts to defend himself but angry Anderson is not to be placated during the video. He is seen to take off in his car that has the car registration plate, FAILURE, at the end of the video.

Kim Kardashian has shared the first photo of her fourth child with Kanye West and revealed the bouncing baby boy's name is Psalm. The 38-year-old reality star took to Instagram to share a screenshot of a text message conversation with her 41-year-old husband. In it there is a snap of the newborn with a caption seemingly revealing the name: 'Psalm West.'

Portions of Billy Joel's Long Island home were demolished in about an hour on Thursday as part of his long-awaited renovation plans to raise the home. Photos taken from the street show an excavator at work (right), pulling down a portion of Joel's Sag Harbor, New York, home to make way for renovations which include combining the two homes on his property with a two-story addition and raising one of the homes about 30 feet. The home, which has its windows boarded up to protect them, can be seen with debris surrounding it. In August 2018, Newsday reported that Joel had been seeking permission to perform the renovations and raising since 2016 and that raising the home was in an effort to become compliant with FEMA standards. 'When she was alive, sadly she could never talk about it.' What a story she must have had. We do know she was recruited with her twin sister Mary - Kate's great-aunt - and they monitored diplomatic traffic from secret listening stations. In this role, they witnessed one of the most extraordinary moments in Bletchley's history. For the twins were on duty when a message was intercepted that Japan had surrendered. Tiffany, 25, and her boyfriend Michael Boulos enjoyed a two-and-a-half-hour shopping trip inside Harrods on Thursday. The first daughter was seen showing Michael her sparkly pink sneakers before they headed into the British department store. President Donald Trump mocked Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren for drinking a beer in an Instagram Live video this past New Years Eve. “Pocahontas. That's another beauty,” Trump said Friday, using a nickname he gave the lawmaker for her claims to Native American heritage. “She's doing really well so far, isn't she? Her and her beer commercial.” The president was taking a jab at a video the Massachusetts senator put out before officially announcing she was running in 2020. Many claimed the Instagram Live video was an attempt to appear relatable, especially to younger voters.

The crystal-clear video shows two GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators (MOPs) being employed against a ground targets at an undisclosed location.Footage shows the 33,000lb bombs being dropped from the weapons bay of a B-52 and disappearing deep into the earth before exploding in an enormous ball of flames. The video's release comes as the US once again faces rising tensions in the Middle East following a war of words with Iran.

Rachel Thompson, 44, from Chiswick, west London, fought a three-year legal battle against Apple to ensure her daughter Matilda, 10, could access the memories stored on her late husband's iPhone in the form of 4,500 photos and 900 videos taken by father Matt Thompson who documented the couple's life before and after the birth of daughter Matilda on the device. A minor league baseball announcer became the subject of his own broadcast during a recent game when he managed to catch a foul ball through an open window in his booth while describing the action to his listeners. Marc Schwartz, a broadcaster and media relations director for the Somerset Patriots of the independent Atlantic League, was filmed making the catch at the team's home stadium in New Jersey. '[Stephen] Cardullo swings and fouls it off, towards the broadcast booth, and I make the catch on the foul ball,' Schwartz yelled. Then, while continuing to provide vital information about the game, Schwartz patted himself on the back: 'I am very proud of myself. I hope somebody got video of that, as I caught it on the fly. And it's a 1-2 count. Boy am I impressive. What a play by me.' Schwartz celebrated by raising both hands and pumping his fists in the air - a move he did recently while catching another foul ball. 'When it comes to broadcast booth celebrations, I really only have one move,' Schwartz wrote on Twitter. 'Hope that is cool k thanks!'

The women hatched an ingenious plan to write hidden messages into their letters (right) which would not be spotted by the camp guards. They realised that if they dipped their scribing stick in urine, the words would quickly vanish from the page as the liquid loses its colour.

Beauty guru Tati, 37, released another video about James, 19, on Thursday evening. In the video, she explained why she decided to post a tell-all about the YouTuber. Christiaan Snouck-Hurgonje was deployed by the Dutch to spy on Indonesian nobility in the Gulf during an era of colonization of southeast Asia by the Dutch East India Company (pictured: the Dutch explorer, top left; his famous photo of Mecca; and pilgrims on the road to the city with their camel, top right). The Islamic scholar used his expertise and Arabic fluency to fool the locals into thinking he had converted to Islam and gain access to the holy city at Mecca. He was the first Western scholar to be granted access to Mecca and the first to photograph its famous shrine.

Naude Dreyer, who has rescued more than 600 wild seals from dangerous discarded rubbish, was filmed rescuing the animals at Pelican Point, in Walvis Bay, Namibia. In the clip, the 36-year-old chases down the panicked seals to cut away the tight netting from around their necks. Holding the animal between his legs, he keeps one hand behind their head as he frees it from the nylon coils. In a matter of moments, the seal is freed and heads back to the ocean.

T.E Lawrence, who was given the name 'Lawrence of Arabia', was living in a boarding house run by Fanny Hatcher in Birmingham Street, Southampton, Hampshire in 1933. The war hero was living under an assumed name, Aircraftman Shaw to avoid the attentions of the press who had learned of his wartime service. Lawrence handed over several items to Mrs Hatcher's son Donald, 13, shortly before he died in 1935.

Nine Saskatoon Police officers in total worked to stop the 22-year-old man being crushed underneath the weight of the vehicle (left) and a video released this week shows their heroic efforts. While the aerial clip (right) begins with just a few of them struggling to hold the motor up, more cops are seen dashing toward the scene and contributing their strength.

NBA prospect Tacko Fall has yet to play in a professional game, but the enormous Senegalese center is already setting league records after measuring 7foot7 in sneakers at the NBA Draft combine in Chicago. The combine records date back to 2000, by which point the league had already seen 7foot7 giants such as Manute Bol and George Muresan, so Fall won't necessarily be the NBA's tallest player ever. (Muresan is unofficially considered the tallest player as Bol was measured at slightly taller than 7foot6). As far as the official all-time NBA Draft Combine measurements are concerned, Fall now ranks first for height with shoes (7foot7), wingspan (8foot2.25), standing reach (10foot2.5) and hand length (10.5 inches). The 23-year-old former Central Florida star measured 7foot5.25 without shoes. Fall was also the heaviest player at the combine at 288 pounds, but that is strictly due to his height and build. His body fat measured at just 6.8 percent. Despite Fall's overwhelming size, he is not guaranteed to be selected in June's NBA Draft. NBA centers are now asked to set screens on the perimeter, away from the basket, where Fall typically played in college. (A screen consists of an offensive player impeding the path of a defender to allow to a teammate to have more space). 'I think Tacko Fall can play in the NBA and be on an NBA roster and help in certain spots, but the game has changed,' said ESPN analyst Jay Bilas, a former Duke player and assistant coach. 'You're not going to have low-post players anymore. It just doesn't work that way.'

A photograph of a receipt from Caffe Vaticano (left with the restaurant shown right), near the Vatican in Rome, has gone viral on social media. The bill shows that two people were billed €25 for each burger and €8 for each coffee. TripAdvisor was forced to close down comments on the restaurant's page after it was inundated with negative comments(one pictured inset). Caffe Vaticano is rated just 1.5 stars out of 5 on the review website, based on 1,811 reviews dating back more than a decade.

Filmed on May 4 in Welcome, North Carolina, the filmer used the blasting force of the water to sculpt away all the blackened dirt. The filmer explained: 'After sitting outside for ten years, and having freshly acquired a power washer, these chairs had no chance. 'Ultimately I do not advise sitting in plastic chairs that have gone through these conditions as the plastic can become very brittle and break without notice.' They later added: 'It does make for a satisfying view though.'
