Is Ruby Rose removing her tattoos? Actress displays clear skin on her neck where two inkings used to be - after getting 'just love' lasered off her hands

She once had more than 100 tattoos, ranging from a unicorn to an Alice in Wonderland-inspired rabbit design.

But Ruby Rose appears to have had two of her most famous tattoos lasered off: a Sia lyric on her neck and a tribute to Maybelline on her collarbone.

The body art is seemingly absent going back to August 2018, judging by the Orange Is the New Black star's Instagram snaps and red carpet appearances.

Ruby's neck tattoo reads, '...And breathe me', which is a line from her friend Sia's song Breathe Me. She got it done in February 2011.

The tattoo on her collarbone reads, 'Maybe she's born with it', and is a tribute to her modelling work with cosmetics giant Maybelline.

Ruby has been the face of Maybelline in Australia since 2010 and previously praised the brand for choosing to work with a 'tattooed rock chick'.

The 33-year-old also once praised the brand for supporting her while she was going through depression and rehab.

'I really just wanted to remind myself that a brand like Maybelline - an internationally known brand - stands by me when I don't believe in myself,' she told The Carousel.

'With my depression, when I went into rehab and took time off work and they were like, "No, we want you to be healthy, you're a human being." That's actually a big thing for a brand to do, surprisingly.'

Despite previously saying she loves every single one of her tattoos, Ruby had her knuckle tattoos lasered off in 2017.

The Batwoman star had to remove the words 'just love' from her hands after they became too difficult to hide during filming.

'It's the only one that causes trouble with filming because the makeup always comes off when you're using your hands or washing them throughout the day,' she said.

Earlier that year, Ruby confessed she was removing some of her tattoos to further her career in Hollywood.

'I'm in the process of getting a few removed that get in the way of acting, because you can cover everything with makeup, but getting the creases and corners on hands can be difficult,' she told Cosmopolitan in March 2017.
