Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side suffered a deflating defeat at the hands of already-relegated Cardiff, conceding an opening goal when Nathaniel Mendez-Laing was felled by Diogo Dalot.

The forward picked himself up to beat David de Gea from the penalty spot.

Mendez-Laing extended the Bluebirds' lead in the second half, tapping in Josh Murphy's low cross from close range.

Pogba was booked on the hour mark as United endured a frustrating end to the season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have many decisions to make in what is expected to be a summer of change at Old Trafford. It remains to be seen whether Pogba will feature in the Norwegian's plans.
