Priyanka Chopra appeared to hint that she had taken inspiration from Princess Diana for her debut at the Cannes Film Festival yesterday.
The actress, 36, a close friend of the Duchess of Sussex, took to Instagram to share a snap of Diana looking elegant in an ice blue Catherine Walker gown at the festival in 1987 - just hours before stepping out in a strikingly similar look.
Priyanka plumped for a bustier style top by Lebanese label Honayda for the event last night, which featured a strapless neckline just like royal's.
Meanwhile her wide-leg trousers, by the same designer, were billowing and pleated, giving them the same swishing quality as Diana's graceful chiffon skirt.
