Police discovered eight-year-old Salem Sabatka at around 2am Sunday inside a room at a hotel in Fort Worth, Texas, less than eight miles from where she was abducted seven and a half hours earlier. Police have not released the name of the suspect but said he is a 51-year-old male who is not related to Salem. The youngster had been out on a walk with her mother Saturday evening in Fort Worth's Ryan Place neighborhood when a man grabbed the girl and put her in his car. Heart-wrenching surveillance video showed Salem's mother jumping into the vehicle and desperately trying to save her daughter before the kidnapper shoved her out and drove off.

Austin Eubanks, 37, (right and inset) was found at his Steamboat Springs home on Saturday morning. There were no signs of foul play and an autopsy is scheduled Monday to determine the cause of death. Just a month ago, on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the shootings, Eubanks told DailyMail.com how he spiraled into opioid and alcohol abuse as a way to numb the pain. Eubanks described his difficult and inspirational journey to sobriety and how he became an advocate for fighting addiction, traveling the country telling his story. Eubanks' family said in a statement that he 'lost the battle with the very disease he fought so hard to help others face.'

The woman, 46-year-old Clarisa Figueroa (left), was charged more than three weeks later with killing the baby's mother, 19-year-old Marlen Ochoa-Lopez (right), after police found her body outside Figueroa's home. Chicago police say she cut Marlen's baby (inset) out of her womb on April 23, then called 911 to report she had given birth to a baby who wasn't breathing. Paramedics took Figueroa and the baby to Advocate Christ Medical Center in suburban Oak Lawn. Marlen's family spent those weeks searching for her and holding press conferences pleading for help finding her, unaware the child was in a neonatal intensive care unit on life support.

In response to the ad, a number of social media users accused Calvin Klein of ‘queer baiting.’ According to Urban Dictionary, queer baiting is when ‘people in the media add homoerotic tension between two characters to attract more liberal and queer viewers with the indication of them not ever getting together for real in the show/book/movie.’ The company issued a statement (inset) apologizing for the ad.

Beauty blogger James Charles has released a 'final' 41-minute video in defence of alleged claims made by his former 'mentor',Tati Westbrook (both pictured left) that he 'tricked a straight man into thinking he was gay' at her birthday dinner. Despite the alleged claims put to him by popular YouTubers, James shared a number of damning text messages to back up his position and said he 'still has love' for those who slighted his name.

War of Will has won the 144th running of the Preakness Stakes, in Triple Crown redemption after being impacted by an illegal maneuver by disqualified horse Maximum Security in the Kentucky Derby. In a bizarre start to the race, Bodexpress, a 16-1 longshot, bucked his jockey (inset) out of the starting gate and continued riderless for the rest of the race. The horse was disqualified from the official results. It is the first time in 23 years that the Preakness has been run without a winner of the Kentucky Derby.

The footage, which was filmed at Rocky Point dock in Port Moody, Canada, on Wednesday starts with the man standing on the back of his boat which is attached to his car by a trailer. But the car starts to roll back and the man slips when he tries to jump out of the top of the boat to try stop the car and lands in the path of its wheels. He lands immediately in the path of his looming vehicle and, although he rolls mostly out the way, one of the rear wheels runs over him and the car's open door hits him. The man was later treated for injuries to his lower body. While being pulled from the water at around 6pm, the car, which was a hybrid and electric, caught fire. The fire was finally put out around midnight.

An Australian bride has revealed how a cake she'd envisioned for an ocean-themed wedding, one topped with two pearls, instead arrived decorated with two 'balls'. Taking to Facebook, the woman said she'd visited her baker six months out from her wedding to discuss how she wanted the cake to look and had given her a photo as a guide. (left). Hairy men from around the world have descended on Antwerp in Belgium for the 2019 World Beard and Moustache Championships. Many spectacular styles are on show including majestic handlebars, and swirling whiskers, as competitors battle out to become facial fuzz kings. The wacky contest sees the well-groomed competitors take part in three main categories - moustache, partial beard and full beard - with each including several sub-categories. The three-day event include a Ladies' competition, with categories for Realistic and Creative expression of artificial beards and moustaches. US paratroopers have been practicing ahead of the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings by jumping from a C-130 sporting the black and white stripped markings used by allied aircraft on June 6, 1944. Some 24,000 airborne troops landed across Normandy shortly after midnight, passing over the main invasion force as it steamed towards the beach. The paratroopers were ordered to hold strategic locations, disrupt communications and prevent reinforcements from arriving at the beaches while the main invasion force came ashore.
