Lori Loughlin and her husband are 'actively involved in their defense' as college admissions scandal court case looms: 'They’re both very type A'
They're each facing up to 40 years in prison for their alleged part in the college admissions scandal.
And neither Lori Loughlin, 54, nor husband Mossimo Giannulli are resting on their laurels as their lawyers mount a defense against the charges, according to People.
The couple 'are actively involved in their defense' say the magazine's sources.

The Giannullis have pleaded not guilty to paying $500,000 in bribes to get their daughters into the University of Southern California as crew recruits, even though neither is a rower.

And one daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, wants to go back to the University of Southern California - even as her Full House star mother faces possible prison time.
‘Olivia Jade wants to go back to USC,’ a source told Us Magazine.
‘She didn’t get officially kicked out and she is begging the school to let her back in.’
Despite the social media influencer’s wishes, she is reportedly aware that there is virtually no chance that the Los Angeles-based university will allow her to resume taking classes.

‘She knows they won’t let her in, so she’s hoping this info gets out,’ Us Magazine quotes another source as saying.
‘She wants to come out looking like she’s changed, learned life lessons and is growing as a person, so she for sure wants people to think she is interested in her education.’
Olivia Jade isn’t letting her parents’ legal turmoil get in the way of her very active social life.
The 19-year-old Instagram celebrity was spotted partying in West Hollywood last week.
Olivia Jade was photographed leaving the Bootsy Bellows club with friends at around 2am last Wednesday.
Olivia and her sister, Isabella, are said to be barely speaking to their parents amid the scandal and Olivia has reportedly moved most of her belongings out of the family's Bel Air mansion.
And while Olivia's parents prepare to fight the charges with their lawyers, it seems to be business as usual for the fun-loving teen who kept it casual in some checked pants and a denim jacket as she chatted with friends outside the revamped celebrity hotspot on Wednesday morning.
The former YouTube star, who is said to have recently split from her boyfriend Jackson Guthy, covered her head in a black beanie and finished off her low-key look with some Dr. Marten boots.

In March, federal authorities arrested Loughlin, 54, and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli.
Weeks after their arrest, USC said that the academic status of students whose parents were allegedly involved in the college admissions scandal was on hold and 'under review.'
Loughlin and her husband were among 50 people busted in a wide-ranging investigation into alleged schemes to get wealthy children into elite universities by falsifying SAT scores and college applications.
Some of those arrested, including fellow actor Felicity Huffman, have already struck plea deals with prosecutors.
Huffman, who is best known for her work on the hit TV show Desperate Housewives, pleaded guilty in federal court last week to paying an admissions consultant $15,000 to have a proctor correct her older daughter’s answers on the SAT.
She also considered going through with the plan for her younger daughter before ultimately deciding not to, authorities say.
Sentencing was set for September 13.

Because she agreed to plead guilty, prosecutors said they would recommend four months in prison, but the judge could choose not to put her behind bars at all.
Huffman is one of 14 parents who agreed to plead guilty in what has become known as ‘Operation Varsity Blues,’ the biggest admissions scandal ever prosecuted in the United States.
Some parents like Loughlin and Giannulli have decided to fight the charges.
Loughlin and Giannulli, who are also charged with money laundering conspiracy, have not publicly commented.
If convicted, Loughlin and Giannulli could face up to 40 years in prison.
Laura Janke, the former assistant soccer coach at the University of Southern California who worked with William Rick Singer to create embellished athletic profiles for the children of his deep-pocketed clients, also pleaded guilty last week.
Janke is now working with the the U.S. Attorney's office as a cooperating witness in the case, much to the chagrin of a number of parents who are fighting the charges filed against them.
Among the recruits Janke assisted was Olivia Jade.
