Amy Schumer returns to the stand-up stage just TWO WEEKS after giving birth to first child

Amy Schumer has wasted little time in getting back to work, hitting the stand-up stage just two weeks after giving birth to her first child.

The 37 year old comedienne was spotted at a comedy club on Monday night by fellow comedian Jon Lester, who stated, 'Guess who's back killin the stage' in a now-deleted post on his Instagram story.

The actress then posted his photo on her own Instagram, stating, 'Pic from tonight by @hewas funny I'm back!'

Schumer was wearing a black long-sleeved v-neck mini-dress as she took the stage for the first time after her child's birth.

The Trainwreck star announced exactly two weeks ago that her and husband Chris Fischer's 'royal baby was born' at 10:55 PM the previous night, which came just hours after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their first child.

She also shared snaps of her arriving at the hospital, teasing her 'met look,' since she posted those photos on the same night of the Met Gala in New York City.

Schumer got married to Fischer, a chef and gardener, in Malibu, California in February 2018.

Just eight months later, the funny lady announced she was pregnant, in an unusual way, while trying to get fans to vote.

She directed fans to journalist/author Jessica Yellin's Instagram story, where, at the bottom of a list of Schumer's candidate recommendations, she wrote, 'I'm pregnant.'

Schumer's first pregnancy did not come without its difficulties, though, discussing her struggles during an early November stand-up set.

'I don't like it. I've had a really tough pregnancy so far,' Schumer began, before joking about how everyone keeps guessing if her baby will be a boy or a girl.

'It's a 50/50 shot. It's better odds than in Vegas,' she said. 'I don't know what it's going to be. I think it's going to be a baby.'

During her pregnancy, she also released the Netflix stand-up special Amy Schumer: Growing, which debuted March 19.

She is also slated to star in the upcoming comedy movie The Humans, alongside Steven Yeun, Richard Jenkins and Beanie Feldstein.

She recently starred in the 2018 comedy feature I Feel Pretty, which also starred Michelle Williams and Emily Ratajkowski.
