Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans walks out of reunion after confrontation with Colin Kaepernick's girlfriend over comments made about football player
An emotional Jenelle Evans walked out of the Teen Mom 2 reunion after she was confronted by Colin Kaepernick's girlfriend over comments she made about the football player online.
Host Nessa Diab attempted to engage Jenelle in dialogue over Facebook posts that were critical of Colin and his collaboration with Nike during the reunion which aired Monday night.
Jenelle, 27, denied ever having posted the messages, refused to speak with Nessa over the issue, and ripped off her mic as she walked off the set.

Former San Francisco 49ers player Colin sparked a nationwide movement after he began taking a knee during the National Anthem to protest police brutality and racial inequality two years ago.
He subsequently left the football team, but later became the face of Nike's controversial 'Just Do It' campaign.
Nessa brought up the issue after talking through Jenelle's frustrations with Teen Mom 2 star Amber Portwood, who took to social media to vent about the reality star's relationship with husband David Eason rather then address her face-to-face.
Jenelle said the comments came out of left field, prompting Nessa to bring up the Colin comments.

'I think that's really interesting, because you did exactly the same thing to me,' Nessa said.
'I did? What?' Jenelle replied.
'Yes you did. You posted hateful comments on social media about my family, about my man, Colin Kaepernick. You knew that.'
'I posted it?' Jenelle continued.

'You posted it, and we can pull up the messages. But listen, before we pull it up, because I want you to hear the whole thing.'
'I just have no idea what you're talking about,' Jenelle maintained.
'Okay, these were the comments that were said,' Nessa continued as the messages appeared.
One of the Facebook messages that flashed on the screen read: "Let's choose the most disrespected guy in the NFL for our promos." "Lets add a slogan about sacrificing, everyone will love it." "Let's choose the man that kneels at our flag." YOU'RE WRONG. I will not be buying Nike anymore.

'Chris Kyle's wife wrote a huge letter about how she feels and I couldn't agree more. HER husband actually DID sacrifice a lot. Nike should change their "motto" immediately. Nike needs a new PR person pronto. Their adult smalls are too small anyways. Adidas fits much better and cuter. Lol.'
'I've never seen that,' Jenelle insisted. 'I honestly have no idea who your boyfriend is or husband.'
'No, he's been on set,' Nessa replied.
'This is an open, healthy conversation that I would like to have with you,' Nessa continued when Jenelle continued to push back. 'Please understand something: My man used his platform to peacefully protest systemic oppression in this country, specifically police brutality against black people.

'You want to bring up your issues!' The star felt Nessa was using Teen Mom to get her point across
'Men, women, and children are dying, wrongfully dying. People who are doing this are not being held accountable. That is the issue, it has nothing to do with military men, military women, okay?
'Because they fought for our constitution to peacefully protest, all of us! I would have appreciated if you had contacted me. I would have been more than happy Jenelle to have a healthy conversation.'
'I don't know anything about your husband,' Jenelle said. 'I swear to God,' she continued, before getting emotional and leaving her seat.

Nessa asked Jenelle why she wouldn't have the conversation, but the reality star shot back: 'No! This is about my storyline, and you want to bring up your issues, you want to bring up Teen Mom to bring up your issue. You got your show!'
'You did something that was very hypocritical,' Nessa replied, justifying her reasons for bringing up her boyfriend because Jenelle was upset with Amber for a similar issue.
'I have too much f**king going on!' Jenelle cried as she walked off set. 'Everyone, get me the f**k out of here.'

Backstage, Jenelle continued getting more and more worked up over the confrontation.
'I'm done,' she said during her profanity-laced rant before ripping off her mic.
'It wouldn't be authentic to who I am to be on this stage while someone had disrespected my family on social media,' Nessa said. 'I at least have to address that. I would have loved to share educational resources with her.'
The reunion confrontation is not the first time Jenelle has landed in hot water.
MTV announced earlier this month it had fired Jenelle after her husband David Eason shot and killed their family dog.
