Gage Edward joins Instagram five months after split from Flipping Out's Jeff Lewis and posts cute snap with daughter Monroe

And now, five months later, Gage Edward has opened his first solo Instagram account.
He used the occasion to post a black and white photo of himself with two-year-old daughter Monroe, whom he shares with Lewis, and he captioned the snap: 'Date night.'

Gage and Jeff have continued to co-parent their little girl who was born via a surrogate though not without issues.
While Gage has mostly remained out of the public spotlight, Jeff has continued to discuss their breakup and ongoing fallout on his SiriusXM show.

Jeff publicly announced they had separated during an episode of his radio show on January 31 and he has been giving updates ever since.
Initially, Gage continued to work for Jeff at his company Jeff Lewis Design, that's been made famous thanks to the Bravo reality show.
But now he's moving on although it's not known what he plans to do.
However, he tagged his Instagram bio with the words: 'Dad, Designer, and Entrepreneur.'
Meanwhile, Jeff has bemoaned Gage leaving the design company, saying: 'He’s leaving the business. I feel like he’s leaving again. By working with him, it was my version of still seeing him, still spending time with him. Now that he’s leaving the business, it’s like breaking up again. It’s a second break up.'
