Halsey proved that it pays to be one of her fans Tuesday after a fan confessed on social media to a moving violation.

The 24-year-old singer responded to a tweet from francesca [@_fran_cesca] that read: 'Confession: Driving home from Penn State I got pulled over/given a ticket for the first time ever and when asked why I was going 99 in a 70 I was ~dangerously~ close to admitting I was bangin out to @halsey’s new song Nightmare'.

The tweet included a photo of Halsey with short blue hair along with the caption: 'The outcome is entirely in my hands'.

Online confession: A fan of Halsey confessed Monday that she got pulled over for speeding and almost explained that it was because she was 'bangin out' to Nightmare

The Without Me singer quickly responded on Twitter and replied: 'What's your Venmo. I'll pay your ticket. DRIVE SAFELY PLEASE!!!!'

Francesca a short time later shared a screenshot of an online payment of $250 from the singer who also wrote 'Drive SAFELY!!!!!' along with a trio of heart emojis

'You are so amazing thank you thank you!!! I will NEVER forget your kindness and will continue blasting your music forever (just at a safer speed),' Francesca responded with a happy face emoji.

Francesca on Twitter shared the exchange and also posted: 'So this happened and I've never been more grateful or felt less deserving ...@halsey you are unreal'.

Halsey released her new single Nightmare on Friday along with a music video directed by Hannah Lux Davis, 33.

The music video featured appearances from Cara Delevigne and rock icon Debbie Harry of Blondie fame.

Halsey performed Nightmare live for the first time Monday at The Armory in Minneapolis, according to an article Tuesday by Altpress.

She asked fans on Twitter to promise they wouldn't take out their phones posting, 'I only get 1 chance to sing Nightmare for the 1st time'.

Halsey after her intimate performance reported on Twitter that fans abided by the phone policy.

'YES! Everyone was SO respectful and in the moment I couldn’t believe it. It was amazing to watch I felt SO connected to everyone cause when I looked at them I saw right into their eyes!!!!!!,' she tweeted.
