Under investigation: Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee's battery case against son Brandon is 'headed to the DA Office'
It seems his son hasn't apologized to his dad for punching him in the face.
But even if Brandon had said sorry for knocking Tommy Lee unconscious on March 5, it's too late for the ex-Motley Crue drummer to withdraw battery charges against him.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is wrapping up its probe into the incident and the case is headed to the DA's office, TMZ reported on Sunday citing law enforcement sources.
Swollen lip: Tommy Lee showed off his injuries on Instagram earlier this month after getting into a fight with his son Brandon, 21. Now his battery case against him could end up in court
Brandon, 21, who has been cooperating in the investigation, will find out what, if any, charges he faces once the Sheriff kicks the case to the DA's office.
Tommy, 55, claims he got sucker-punched, but his son says it was self-defense.
It was Tommy's fiancee, Internet star Brittany Furlan, 31, who called 911 asking for help after Brandon knocked Tommy out.
Her scared voice can be heard on a recording of the emergency call, that TMZ has obtained, as she tended to the unconscious drummer.
Mother and son: Brandon's fight with his dad was over his mother, Pamela Anderson, seen at an event in Beverly Hills in June. He will find out whether he faces charges once the Sheriff sends the case to the D.A.'s office
Her own troubles: Pamela, seen earlier this month, will be questioned by the FBI about her relationship with Julian Assange in London
Tommy's ex-wife Pamela Anderson, who is mother to Brandon and their younger son Dylan, 20, claims the rocker's heavy boozing was to blame for the altercation.
The source added Brandon lashed out because his dad called-out Pamela on Twitter, after she discussed domestic abuse during her marriage on Piers Morgan's Life Stories.
Brandon later acknowledged in a statement that the social media attack regarding his mother was the cause of their argument.

'I'm devastated at the events of the last several days that have been a result of my father's alcoholism,' he said.
'I've worked tirelessly organizing an intervention and it's incredibly upsetting that it never came to fruition.
'I wanted my dad's hopeful sobriety and recovery to be a private family matter but, as a result of his accusations on social media, I feel forced to speak out.'

Meanwhile, Pamela will be questioned by the FBI about her relationship with Julian Assange in London, it has been claimed.
According to US website Radar Online, the 50-year-old faces a grilling over her visits to Assange who has been holed up in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London since 2012 after being accused in Sweden of rape and sexual assault by two women.
Assange feared that if he went to Sweden to defend himself he would be extradited to America where he is wanted over Wikileaks’ releases of US military documents. Sweden dropped the sex charges last year.
