Serving up a storm! Hugh Jackman shares a selfie with world tennis champion Roger Federer in Zurich

One is a world-famous actor, beloved by millions.

The other is a world-famous tennis champion, with his own legion of adoring fans.

And on Monday, both worlds collided when Australian Oscar nominee Hugh Jackman met Roger Federer in Zurich, Switzerland.

Hugh, 50, posted a photo to Instagram of himself standing with his arm around Roger, 37, alongside the caption: 'Champion Zurich'. 

Both stars, dressed in blue jackets and T-shirts, were smiling in the picture.

Swiss tennis player Roger is currently ranked world No. 3 in men's singles tennis, and has 20 Grand Slam wins under his belt.

Meanwhile, Hugh has been stunning audiences with his Greatest Showman world tour, which started in Glasgow earlier this month.

He began his 92-date world tour of 'The Man. The Music. The Show' in the Scottish city, where the sold-out crowd was entertained with songs from The Greatest Showman, Les Mis?©rables and The Boy from Oz.  

The musical spectacular also included an appearance from Keala Settle, who played the 'Bearded Lady' in The Greatest Showman.

She surprised concertgoers with a rendition of This Is Me.

This Is Me won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song last year and was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Fans gave Hugh a standing ovation following a hugely successful opening night.
