'I don't care if he hates me': Drew Barrymore ranks Jake Gyllenhaal her least talented co-star during side-splitting appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden

She has enjoyed a career that has spanned nearly four decades.

Yet, Drew Barrymore, 43, left her cinematic etiquette at the door during her appearance on The Late Late Show on James Corden on Wednesday night when she admitted that Jake Gyllenhaal was the least talented actor she had ever worked with.

The Santa Clarita Diet actress starred opposite Academy Award nominee Jake in 2001's cult classic Donnie Darko, when she played his English teacher Karen Pomeroy.

Despite their working past, Drew appeared determined not to ingest a rotten morsel during a segment of Spill Your Guts Or Fill Your Guts on the talk show when she was asked to rank three of her co-stars from most to least talented or be subjected to feasting on a turkey testicle.

After much deliberation and still reeling from downing a shot of bird saliva, she conceded that Adam Sandler was the most talented, Hugh Grant was the second most, and Jake Gyllenhaal was the least.

She said: 'When I run into him next time, I’ll be like, "Dude, it was selling you down the river or eating turkey’s balls."

'I don’t care if he hates me I’m doing this because I won’t make it. Okay; Adam, Hugh, Jake (most to least) I'm sorry Jake!

Drew Barrymore looked effortlessly stylish when she made an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

This look is all about the blazer, which is by très chic French label Isabel Marant. It's much more laidback than a black tux blazer, and we love the boxy fit, oversized lapels and double breasted design.

Donnie Darko follows troubled teenager Donnie, who begins to have visions of Frank, a person dressed in large rabbit suit, who influences him to commit a series of crimes as he becomes unable to distinguish between fantasy and reality.

Although the flick roused little excitement on the big screen, it received huge critical acclaim and became a hit after it was release to the home movie market, reportedly grossing over $10million at the time.
