The floor length gown's bodice skimmed over Dakota's slender frame before flowing out into an a-line pleated skirt with moderate trail.

A yellow bow added an extra flourish to the dress, which was elevated with a jaw-dropping diamond necklace and matching earrings.

Slicking her blonde hair back into a high bun, the Cat In The Hat star complemented her fair complexion with deftly touches of make-up.

Emulate 50s glam like Elle in a Dior skirt

Elle may have just brought her most memorable Cannes look yet... and it was in Dior!

The actress, who is a member of this year's Cannes Film Festival jury, brought the 50s to 2019 with this old Hollywood look, featuring a tulle maxi skirt, pointed toe heels, classic white puff-sleeve blouse and wide brim hat. Her hair was even styled in a classic 50s do!

We are in love with this look for Elle, as it fits perfectly with her mature sense of fashion and seems like an ode to all the stars before her.

This look is actually quite easy to replicate, as well! While this whole exact look can't be bought from Dior, you can scroll below to get a tulle navy skirt just like Elle's. Just pair with a classic heel and white blouse, and there you have it!
