Jenelle Evans heads back to court with David Eason to fight for custody of kids... amid claims she must choose between husband and children

  • Jenelle's three children were removed from the household after her husband shot and killed the family dog Nugget
  • Her eldest son Jace is with Jenelle's mother Barbara, who has primary custody of the nine-year-old
  • Her 4-year-old Kaiser is with his father Nathan Griffith, who is fighting for custody
  • Jenelle and David's daughter Ensley, 2, is understood to also be in the care of Barbara

Jenelle Evans and her husband David Eason are still attempting to regain custody of their children.

The couple were pictured arriving to the Columbus County Courthouse together on Wednesday after her children were removed from the household by Child Protective Services last week.

It came after David shot and killed the family's pet dog, claiming the animal had bitten the couple's young daughter on the face.

Jenelle's largest obstacle in getting her kids back may be the fact that she is still with her husband, according to TMZ.

Lawyers for the couple have reportedly been arguing CPS can only keep the children away from their parents for a limited time.

Yet the judge maintains the issue is over what is in the best interest of the children, and whether or not David poses a danger to the kids.

The reality star's ex Nathan Griffith, who now has physical custody of their four-year-old son Kaiser following his removal from Jenelle's home, was also pictured arriving to court on Wednesday.

Nathan is now fighting for custody of Kaiser as he reportedly believes David has been mistreating the child, according to TMZ.
