The miniseries will chart the 43-year-old's journey to his comeback beginning with his infidelity scandal of 2009 which was uncovered after Tiger was involved in a single vehicle car accident near his Florida home on the day after Thanksgiving.

It came after a National Enquirer story about Tiger's alleged affair with NYC nightclub manager Rachel Uchitel.

In the coming weeks more than a dozen other women claimed to have had affairs with Tiger.

Tiger announced he would take an 'indefinite break' from golf to work on his marriage after he admitted to being unfaithful to wife Elin Nordegren multiple times.

Following that, several companies re-evaluated their relationships with the pro golfer.

Accenture, AT&T, Gatorade and General Motors completely ended their sponsorship deals, while Gillette suspended advertising featuring Tiger.

Tiger and Elin failed to save their relationship and divorced in August 2010.

Deadline reports that Benedict and co-author Armen Keteyian spoke to more than 250 people for the biography including prominent names in the golfing world.
