The blonde recently enjoyed a holiday in Australia, where she spent time in Bondi with the likes of P.E. Nation designer, Pip Edwards (pictured with Elle)
For Elle, looking good on the outside all starts with feeling good on the inside.
'I sip on hot water and lemon to kick-start my metabolism. Then I mediate for about 20-30 minutes. It helps keep me balanced and feel strong and confident,' she previously told Harper's Bazaar.
'I'll either do some yoga or I'll jump on my bike and ride to the beach for a swim. If I'm on the road, I'll bring my running shoes and go for a jog or walk — I love to explore any new surroundings and getting outside,' she added.
Now she's in her 50s, Elle revealed that she never 'over works' in the gym:
'I now listen to what my body needs,' she continued. 'I do an hour of exercise I really enjoy every day. It might be paddle boarding, hiking or even waterskiing.'
The supermodel's love of the great outdoors was showcased fully during Elle's recent trip to Australia, which saw her enjoy the waves at Sydney's world-famous Bondi Beach, as well as coastal walks near Watson's Bay.

When it comes to her daily diet, Elle has been 'alkaline' for several years now.
The alkaline diet, also known as the acid-alkaline diet or alkaline ash diet, is based around the idea that the foods you eat can alter the acidity or alkalinity (the pH value) of your body.
Elle credits it with transforming her skin and banishing her sugar cravings for good.
Writing in her monthly Get The Gloss column, the soon-to-be 54-year-old said she was put on the diet by her nutritional doctor, and in just two weeks Elle was feeling more balanced than ever, with renewed energy and glowing skin.
'By reducing acid-forming foods and replacing them with "live" nutrients and raw vegetables and fruits, the body can return to a healthy balanced state and allow the digestive system and liver to rest and recuperate,' she wrote.
Elle swapped out red meat for plenty of green vegetables and fresh fish, and also invested in a dehydrator - which uses low temperatures to dry food.
She did this after learning nutrients can be lost in the cooking process.
Elle's Super Elixir powder (pictured with Elle) claims to alkalise the body and improve health with 45 alkalising ingredients including Chinese herbs and shiitake and maitake mushrooms

ELLE'S WELLNESS SECRETS
What are the benefits of taking horsetail?
Horsetail is a thin and sterile perennial plant capable of absorbing unique minerals from the earth like Silica which are not found in many other plants.
Silica is a beauty trace mineral for healthy strong connective tissue – the muscles, tendons, hair and nails. Necessary for the repair of bony tissues, Silica helps to "fix" calcium, so that the body can use it to repair collagen, strengthen mature bones and help form new bones.
While all of this sounds very well and good - as well as quite achievable - the entrepreneur wouldn't have got to where she is today without a few wellness secrets or tricks up her sleeve.
Enter Super Elixir. The Welleco powder, which the model is the co-founder of, claims to alkalise the body and improve health with 45 alkalising ingredients including Chinese herbs and shiitake and maitake mushrooms.
Elle sips on it daily in a glass of filtered water, often alongside half a grapefruit and says it helps with her 'energy levels, sleep patterns and complexion'.
'Because different greens have different benefits, I try to eat a few different varieties every day. For example, kale is a good source of iron and calcium, while broccoli, sprouts, cabbage and spinach are high in vitamin C,' she added.
The mother's other wellness secrets include horsetail - which she said also assists with the complexion and strengthens your bones.
'Its unique beauty mineral silica, that aids the repair of body tissues and collagen,' she said.
Elle (pictured in her twenties) is also a fan of horsetail - which she said also assists with the complexion and strengthens your bones
The model has also said she is a fan of the 80/20 approach - which sees people eat clean for 80 per cent of the time, and eat whatever they like for 20 per cent of the time
As she turns 54, many around the world will be wondering just how she does it.
However, Elle has often said it's as simple as 'good nutrition' and an 'hour of exercise' every single day.
The model has also said she is a fan of the 80/20 approach - which sees people eat clean for 80 per cent of the time, and eat whatever they like for 20 per cent of the time.
If she has dessert, Elle will either plump for a small amount of dark chocolate, or some vegan ice cream.
