Billie Lourd plays coy about whether she will appear in Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker

Billie Lourd is not giving away her poker hand when it comes to Star Wars.

When asked about the upcoming Episode IX -- The Rise Of Skywalker -- during an appearance on Live With Kelly And Ryan, the actress played coy and and avoided answering the question. 

But according IMDb, Lourd is in fact listed as part of the cast alongside the likes of stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Issac and Lupita Nyong'o.

During her spot on the show that aired Tuesday, co-host Kelly Ripa pried Lourd and asked: 'Episode IX what can you tell us?'

'Nothing,' the 26-year-old shot back immediately. 

'It's classic. Star Wars police will pull me away. The stormtroopers will come in… not really. I wish, that would be great. That would be really good if I said something bad,' she joked.  

When asked if she's even in the next installment in the franchise, Lourd gestured like she was about to answer the question with her mouth and open arms and said: 'You know, take that as you may.'

Lourd has appeared as Lieutenant Connix in the first two films in the Star Wars sequel trilogy: The Force Awakens (2015) and The Last Jedi (2017).

Her late mother, Carrie Fisher, played Princess Leia in the Star Wars anthology, which included reprising her role in the last two installments.

Earlier this month, Lourd honored her mother on Star Wars Day, May 4, by posting a photo of the mother-and-daughter duo from 2015 along with a caption of emojis that plays on the date and a key line in the original film.

It translated to 'May the 4th be with you,' which is a play on 'May the force be with you.'    

Fisher died In December 2016, at the age of 60, four days after she had a heart attack on a flight from London to Los Angeles.

Along with Star Wars, Lourd is also known for her role in the Fox horror comedy series Scream Queens (2015-2016) and the FX horror anthology series American Horror Story (2017-present).

She's currently out promoting the Olivia Wilde-directed comedy film Booksmart that premieres in the US May 24.
