Jennifer Hudson has reportedly quit her role as a judge on The Voice UK after three series.

According to the Daily Star, the singer has decided its time to bow out of the series after she left the American version last year.

It is also claimed Jennifer was offered a big money deal to remain with the show but turned it down.

A source said: 'Jennifer has absolutely loved her time on The Voice but she’s decided not to return.

'It wasn’t an easy decision. She would love to continue doing the show. But she has a lot on and something had to give.

'She quit the American version last year and now she’s had to walk away from the UK series too.'

However, a spokesperson for ITV told MailOnline that 'no decision has been made' yet regarding Jennifer's future on The Voice.

Speaking previously at a press conference, the singer admitted that while she loved being a judge on The Voice, she was unsure her schedule would allow her to return.

She said: 'This year has been challenging. I love everything I do but it’s about working it all into my schedule. I truly, truly love this and I’m three seasons deep.

'She is one of the most iconic and talented artists of all time and what a dream come true it is to portray her extraordinary life on screen.'

She added: 'I would want to continue, but I don’t know if my schedule will allow me to. It’s not just a job to me. It’s like a family' (pictured in March 2019)
