Anita launched Amanu in April of 2018 after realizing first hand that one of the hardest universal items to find for her clients (who include Eiza Gonzalez, Camila Alves, Julianne Hough) is the perfect pair of sandals. ​ 

The stylist was inspired during a trip to Capri, Italy when she stepped into a small sandal-making store and watched an Italian craftsman create the perfect sandal for her foot.

For those unable to make the trip to California, Amanu has recently collaborated with apparel and accessories brand, Cuyana

This is the first time the brand is available online beyond its Los Angeles appointment-based showroom.

The first two offerings from the partnership are the Style 6 and the Style 7, both modern minimalist shapes crafted from Italian leather and made to order. 

The sandals retail for $275-$295.
