Let her eat cake: Tiffany Trump parties in Cannes during posh film fest while taxpayers foot the $20K hotel bill - for just THREE nights

  • Tiffany Trump and her Nigerian boyfriend Michael Boulos spent the weekend in Cannes during the annual film festival
  • Government records obtained by DailyMail.com reveal that Secret Service agents spent three nights at a hotel at a cost of $19,213.48
  • That money will be covered by taxpayers at the same time that the trade war with China has hit American farmers hard and could cost families $2300 a year
  • Government records also show that orders for $107,443.82 and $213,926.17 were also made during the festival at the Hotel Palm Beach in Cannes

President Trump's youngest daughter enjoyed a taxpayer-funded trip to the Cannes Film Festival over the weekend.

Tiffany Trump and her Nigerian beau Michael Boulos were seen cavorting on the Croisette and partying well into the night on the Cote d'Azur, on a trip that cost taxpayers tens-of-thousands of dollars.

Government records obtained by DailyMail.com reveal that the hotel rooms for Secret Service agents alone cost $19,213.48 - and that was only for three nights of the trip.

This trip comes at the same time that American farmers are being hit hard by the ongoing trade war with China, which by some estimates could cost families $2300 this year.

Step out in dazzling pumps by Aruna Seth like Tiffany

Tiffany Trump cut an elegant figure in Cannes, France alongside her billionaire-beau Michael Boulos.

The blonde bombshell wore her pin straight hair with this sheer and sequin dotted sleeveless dress that she teamed with her go-to Saint Laurent crossbody bag and a pair of Aruna Seth crystal embellished pumps.

She recently stopped by the London shoemaker and must have picked up a few of her designs (we saw her in pink crystal embellished sneakers leaving the designers shop last week).

Copy Tiffany and get these same butterfly motif pumps in pink (black is sold out!) or get the look for less with one of our high street finds down below!

The couple's trip to one of the priciest vacation destinations in the world also came at the same time as the annual film festival, that this year attracted the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Selena Gomez and Elle Fanning.

Hotel rooms are scarce and pricey this time of year throughout the South of France, but the agents still managed to score a room at the five-star JW Marriott Cannes.

That is the same hotel where Tilda Swinton, Chloe Sevigny and Margot Robbie have been spotted this past week.

Tiffany was not seen spending any time with the Hollywood stars at the festival, and instead dined and partied with her beau and his family.

She and Boulos began dating last year and went public with their relationship around the holidays.

He has since made a number of trips to the US to visit the first daughter, who attends Georgetown Law School.

The two also traveled to Phuket over the New Year.

Government records also show that orders for $107,443.82 and $213,926.17 were also made during the festival at the Hotel Palm Beach in Cannes.

It is unclear what these were for, but they are described the purchase orders as critical government functions.

DailyMail.com has reached out to the US Secret Service for comment.

In July 2017, the State Department splashed out over $100,000 on car rentals during Tiffany's in Italy.

Federal records show that three separate payments in the amounts of $54,694.84, $39,188.64 and $23,605.96 were made on July 18 in Rome.

That was two days before Tiffany and mom Marla disembarked in Portofino after almost two weeks spent cruising up the coast of Italy.

The women then enjoyed a few days in the northern port city before heading to their final destination of Rome on Sunday.

Best of all, Marla and Tiffany were able to do all this without breaking the bank.

The Roman hotel of President Trump's second wife appeared to be comped or at the very least discounted, while the ladies' two weeks on the Tyrrhenian Sea were spent as guests on the yacht of their friend Chahrazad Rizk.

Mother and daughter also got a big assist from American taxpayers too, who footed the $117,489.44 fee for the car rentals that transported the two women and Secret Service agents around the European nation.
