But Lea Seydoux took a moment to celebrate her newest venture, Oh Mercy!, as she stepped out for its premiere during the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday.

Directed by Arnaud Desplechin, Oh Mercy! follows the story of local police chief Daoud (Roschdy Zem) and his recruit Louis (Antoine Reinartz), who attempt to unravel the violent murder case of an elderly woman. 

The neighbours of the victim, Claude (Lea) and Marie (Sara Forestier) are arrested in suspicion of the murder.

The movie will compete for the coveted Palm d'Or prize at Cannes, as one of seven French films that has premiered in competition for the Festival.

Meanwhile, at the end of last month, Lea was announced to be returning to her role of Dr Madeleine Swann in Bond 25 - set for release next year.
