EXCLUSIVE: Wendy Williams tells all! The talk diva is shopping her no-holds-barred interview to Oprah, ABC and NBC amid divorce from cheating husband and son's arrest as insiders say the future of her show is in jeopardy
Wendy Williams wants to capitalize on her recent troubles and create a positive buzz around her and her show by selling her tell-all story to a TV network. The scandal hit daytime talk show host is divorcing her cheating husband Kevin Hunter and is publicly battling alcohol abuse. Adding even more drama to her personal life, Wendy's son who she shares with Hunter, Kevin Hunter Jr, 19, was arrested for assault on Tuesday night after punching Hunter in the face following an argument over the couple's divorce. The 54-year-old wants the special to be an hour long, but a network source told DailyMailTV a prime-time slot for that long is the sticking point. 'An hour of Wendy time is a lot of time. Gayle King didn't even give R Kelly an hour,' a source said. This comes as DailyMailTV learned Williams has stopped attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, sparking more concern for a relapse, which cost the show more money.
